2024 Chungju Love Apple Cider Club Invitational Foot Volleyball Tournament

The 2024 Chungju Love Apple Cup Amateur Invitational Foot Volleyball Tournament was held for two days from August 24th to 25th at the Suanbo Sports Park Foot Volleyball Court in Suanbo-myeon, Chungju-si, with approximately 80 amateur club teams from around the country participating and competing fiercely under the hot sun .

Chungju City Foot Volleyball Association President Jeong Gil-su concluded the event with words of gratitude and encouragement to the enthusiasts from all over the country who visited the venue , and Chungju Mayor Cho Gil-hyeong urged them to take home many memories from Chungju through safe and enjoyable games .

The competition, which was held around October every year, was held in August this year. Although it was a tough match in hot weather, the players returning after the competition praised the Chungju City Association for its preparations for the competition and promised to come back again next year .

In particular, despite it being a local competition, many YouTubers broadcasted it live, and the fateful quarterfinal match between 40 -something stars Pyeongtaek Maru and Anyang Smart set a record with over 800 concurrent users watching the live broadcast. As a YouTuber who has participated in numerous competitions, he said that this was the first time he had seen a competition where so much preparation was made while thinking of the enthusiasts, and praised the Chungju City Foot Volleyball Association on behalf of enthusiasts across the country .

The competition closed with the winning teams from each division: National General Division Laujok Club , National 40s Division Anyang Smart , North Chungcheong General Division Jeungpyeong Ginseng , North Chungcheong Gwannae Division Jeungpyeong Ginseng , and Northern 3 Cities and Counties Division Chungju Apple Team . The event concluded with a closing speech by Chungju City Chairman Jeong Gil-su, who promised to invite enthusiasts from all over the country to an even better competition next year.
