The Michuhol-gu Juan 5-dong Community Social Security Council (Chairman Park Chang-sik) announced on the 22nd that it had implemented the ‘Side Dish Support Project with Love’ targeting 18 households in the region, including single-person households, families with disabilities, and multicultural families.

This project is a program where the council members cook and deliver food to the target households once a month. It goes beyond simply delivering side dishes and plays an important role in checking on the health and well-being of the target households. This month, we have prepared a variety of side dishes that will whet your appetite in the summer, such as braised pork and quail eggs, braised anchovies and chili peppers, and perilla leaf kimchi.

Chairman Park Chang-sik said, “As the hot weather continues and it is easy to lose your appetite, we have prepared various side dishes so that residents can stay healthy during the summer.” He added, “We will continue to pursue customized welfare projects for our neighbors in need.”

The official said, “We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the members of the Community Welfare Council who have been practicing sharing every month and to the Juan Senior Citizens’ Cultural Center for providing the venue,” and added, “We hope that our neighbors will be able to stay healthy during the hot summer thanks to the side dish sharing event.”

This side dish support project is having a positive impact on the local community by going beyond simple food support and practicing warm sharing that cares for the health and well-being of neighbors.
