The Yazidi community continues to suffer from the long-term impacts of the genocide, including displacement and trauma. The UN is urging the international community to support efforts to hold ISIL members accountable for their crimes against the Yazidi people. This includes providing support for investigations, prosecutions, and reparations for victims.
