Yongin Special City announced on the 26th that it is recruiting students for the ’57th Regular Education Program’ that will be held at the Lifelong Learning Center (Suji) from September 3rd to 5th. A total of 1,128 people will be recruited for this training in 71 different courses, and parents of many children will be given a 30% discount on tuition.

Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) announced on the 26th that it will be recruiting students for the ’57th Regular Education Program’ held at the Lifelong Learning Center (Suji) from September 3rd to 5th. This 57th program consists of a total of 71 courses, including ▲13 in the cooking field, ▲3 in the hair and beauty field, ▲8 in the practical technology field, ▲3 in the information field, ▲13 in the humanities and liberal arts field, ▲15 in the culture and arts field, and ▲16 in the qualification acquisition field, reflecting the various interests and needs of citizens.

The program will run for 12 weeks from September 23 to December 19, and the tuition for each course is set at 30,000 to 90,000 won. The cost of materials must be paid separately from the tuition. The total number of students for this recruitment is 1,128, and the applicants are Yongin Special Citizens aged 19 or older. In addition, employees of companies with addresses in Yongin City, overseas Koreans, and married immigrants can also apply for the course.

Applications for classes can be submitted online through the Yongin City Lifelong Learning Center website (https://lll.yongin.go.kr), and mobile applications are also available. Students are selected through a random drawing, and if you are not selected in the drawing, you can reapply on a first-come, first-served basis for the remaining spaces in the course during the additional recruitment period. In particular, parents of families with two or more children, including one minor child under the age of 18, will receive a 30% discount on tuition.

City officials said, “We hope that Yongin Special Citizens will enjoy the joy of learning and acquire new knowledge and skills through the regular education programs provided by the Lifelong Learning Center (Suji).”
