The Saemaul Women's Association of Nonhyeon-gojan-dong (\ub17c\ud604\uace0\uc794\ub3d9), Incheon's Namdong-gu (\ub0a8\ub3d9\uad6c), led by chairwoman Jin Myeong-ja (\uc9c4\uba85\uc790), announced on the 16th that it held a 'Samgyetang Sharing Event of Love' for local senior citizens on the 15th to mark Chobok (\ucd08\ubcf5). The event was planned with the sponsorship of Sang-Incheon Saemaul Geumgo (\uc0c1\uc778\ucc9c\uc0c8\ub9c8\uc744\uae08\uace0), led by chairman Im Dong-pyo (\uc784\ub3d9\ud45c), to help vulnerable senior citizens stay healthy through the summer.<\/p>\n

Samgyetang Delivered to 250 Seniors at Senior Centers and Rental Apartments<\/h2>\n

On that day, members of the Saemaul Women's Association gathered from early morning to carefully prepare the samgyetang and package it individually under hygienic conditions.<\/p>\n

The prepared samgyetang was thoughtfully delivered to a total of 250 senior citizens, including 110 elderly residents at local senior centers and 140 elderly households living in rental apartments.<\/p>\n

Association Chairwoman, District Chief: 'We Will Carefully Look After Seniors' Health'<\/h2>\n

Jin Myeong-ja (\uc9c4\uba85\uc790), chairwoman of the Saemaul Women's Association, said, 'Despite the scorching heat wave and monsoon rains, our members prepared this with great care for the senior citizens. We hope they enjoy the nutritious samgyetang, regain their strength, and get through the summer in good health.'<\/p>\n
