중랑구는 2024년 10월 24일 대규모 재난에 대비한 ‘2024년 재난대응 안전한국훈련’을 성공적으로 시행할 계획이다. 이번 훈련은 다중밀집시설인 서울의료원에서 발생한 복합 재난 상황을 가정해 재난 발생 시 신속하고 효율적인 대응 체계를 구축하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 중랑구는 구민의 안전을 최우선으로 생각하며, 재난 대비 역량을 극대화하고자 이번 훈련을 철저히 준비하고 있다.
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) is set to conduct the 2024 Disaster Response Safety Korea Training on October 24, 2024. This drill aims to prepare for large-scale disasters by simulating a complex disaster scenario at Seoul Medical Center, a densely populated facility. Jungnang-gu is committed to maximizing its disaster preparedness to protect its residents and ensure swift, effective responses in emergency situations.
이번 훈련은 전기차가 서울의료원에 돌진해 대형 화재가 발생하는 상황을 가정한 복합 재난 대응 훈련으로, 각종 재난에서의 실전 대응 능력과 민·관 협력 체계를 강화하는 것이 목적이다. 중랑구청을 비롯해 중랑소방서, 중랑경찰서, 서울의료원, 육군 제3298부대, 한국전력공사 동대문중랑지사 등 9개의 유관기관과 중랑구 자율방재단, 안전보안관, 의용소방대 등 3개의 민간단체가 함께 참여하여 약 300명이 훈련에 투입된다. 이는 민·관이 협력하여 재난 상황에 신속하고 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 연계 대응 방안을 마련하기 위해서다.
The drill will simulate a scenario where an electric vehicle crashes into Seoul Medical Center, causing a large-scale fire. This complex disaster response training aims to enhance real-time response capabilities and strengthen public-private collaboration. Participating in the drill are nine relevant institutions, including Jungnang-gu Office, Jungnang Fire Station, Jungnang Police Station, Seoul Medical Center, and the 3298th Army Unit, along with three civilian groups such as the Jungnang Voluntary Disaster Prevention Corps, Safety Patrol, and Volunteer Fire Brigade. Approximately 300 people will be involved in the drill, which focuses on creating a seamless, collaborative response between public and private sectors to minimize casualties and property damage in the event of a disaster.

훈련을 앞두고, 중랑구는 13개 실무반과 유관기관이 참여한 사전 기획 회의를 여러 차례 진행하였으며, 외부 전문가의 2차례 컨설팅을 통해 체계적인 대응 전략을 마련했다. 또한, 재난 상황 발생 시 신속한 정보 전달을 위해 **재난안전통신망(PS-LTE)**을 적극적으로 활용할 예정이다. 이를 통해 실제 재난 발생 시 민·관이 원활하게 소통하고 대응할 수 있는 공동 대응 체계를 확립하는 데 중점을 두고 있다. 중랑구는 이 훈련을 통해 재난 발생 시 구민의 생명과 재산 피해를 최소화하고, 안전한 지역사회를 유지할 수 있도록 노력할 것이다.
To ensure thorough preparation, Jungnang-gu held multiple pre-planning meetings involving 13 task forces and relevant organizations. Additionally, the district received consultations from external experts to develop a systematic response plan. The Public Safety LTE (PS-LTE) network will be actively used during the drill to ensure rapid communication in real-time disaster situations. This comprehensive training seeks to establish an effective joint response system where all parties can coordinate smoothly during actual emergencies, ultimately safeguarding the lives and property of the district’s residents.
류경기 중랑구청장은 “예측 불가능한 재난 상황에 철저히 대비하기 위해 예방과 관리에 대한 역량을 집중하고 있다”며, “이번 훈련을 통해 유관기관과 민간단체가 유기적으로 협력하여 재난에 대한 대응 능력을 더욱 강화하고, 구민의 안전을 최우선으로 하는 더욱 안전한 중랑구를 만들겠다”고 밝혔다. 중랑구는 앞으로도 다양한 재난 대비 훈련과 대응 체계를 통해 구민의 생명과 재산을 지키기 위해 지속적으로 노력할 계획이다.
Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi emphasized, “We are focusing all our efforts on prevention and management to be fully prepared for any unexpected disasters. This training will serve as a foundation for further strengthening cooperation between relevant institutions, ensuring the safety of our residents, and building a safer Jungnang-gu.” The district will continue to implement various disaster preparedness drills and response systems to protect its residents and maintain a secure community.
