잠언 3장 (Proverbs Chapter 3)

1 b’ni בְּנִ֗י my-son torati תּוֹרָתִי֮ my-law al אַל־ not tishkach תִּשְׁכָּ֪ח forget u-mitzvotai וּ֝מִצְוֺתַ֗י and-my-commands yitzor יִצֹּ֥ר let-keep libbecha לִבֶּֽךָ׃ your-heart

1My son, forget not my law; but let your heart keep my commandments:

1내 아들아 나의 법을 잊어버리지 말고 네 마음으로 나의 명령을 지키라

2 ki כִּ֤י for orech אֹ֣רֶךְ length yamim יָ֭מִים days u-shnot וּשְׁנ֣וֹת and-years chayyim חַיִּ֑ים life v-shalom וְ֝שָׁל֗וֹם and-peace yosifu יוֹסִ֥יפוּ they-add lach לָֽךְ׃ to-you

2For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to you.

2그리하면 그것이 너로 장수하여 많은 해를 누리게 하며 평강을 더하게 하리라

3 chesed חֶ֥סֶד mercy ve-emet וֶאֱמֶ֗ת and-truth al אַֽל־ not ya’azvucha יַעַזְבֻ֫ךָ let-forsake-you qoshrem קָשְׁרֵ֥ם bind-them al עַל־ on garg’rotecha גַּרְגְּרוֹתֶ֑יךָ your-neck katvem כָּ֝תְבֵ֗ם write-them al עַל־ on luach ל֥וּחַ tablet libbecha לִבֶּֽךָ׃ your-heart

3Let not mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them on the table of your heart:

3인자와 진리가 네게서 떠나지 못하게 하고 그것을 네 목에 매며 네 마음판에 새기라

4 u-m’tza וּמְצָא־ and-find chen חֵ֖ן favor v-sechel וְשֵֽׂכֶל־ and-understanding tov ט֑וֹב good b-einei בְּעֵינֵ֖י in-eyes-of elohim אֱלֹהִ֣ים God v-adam וְאָדָֽם׃ and-man

4So shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

4그리하면 네가 하나님과 사람 앞에서 은총과 귀중히 여김을 받으리라

5 b’tach בְּטַ֣ח trust el אֶל־ to YHVH יְ֭הוָה LORD b-chol בְּכָל־ with-all libbecha לִבֶּ֑ךָ your-heart v-el וְאֶל־ and-to binat’cha בִּֽ֝ינָתְךָ֗ your-understanding al אַל־ not tishshaen תִּשָּׁעֵֽן׃ lean

5Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding.

5너는 마음을 다하여 여호와를 신뢰하고 네 명철을 의지하지 말라

6 b-chol בְּכָל־ in-all d’rachecha דְּרָכֶ֥יךָ your-ways da’ehu דָעֵ֑הוּ acknowledge-him v-hu וְ֝ה֗וּא and-he y’yasher יְיַשֵּׁ֥ר shall-direct orchotecha אֹֽרְחֹתֶֽיךָ׃ your-paths

6In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

6너는 범사에 그를 인정하라 그리하면 네 길을 지도하시리라

7 al אַל־ not t’hi תְּהִ֣י be chacham חָכָ֣ם wise b-einecha בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ in-your-eyes y’ra יְרָ֥א fear et אֶת־ [obj] YHVH יְ֝הוָ֗ה LORD v-sur וְס֣וּר and-depart me-ra מֵרָֽע׃ from-evil

7Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

7스스로 지혜롭게 여기지 말지어다 여호와를 경외하며 악을 떠날지어다

8 rifut רִפְא֥וּת healing t’hi תְּהִ֥י it-shall-be l-shorecha לְשָׁרֶּ֑ךָ to-your-navel v-shikkuy וְ֝שִׁקּ֗וּי and-marrow l-atzmotecha לְעַצְמוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ to-your-bones

8It shall be health to your navel, and marrow to your bones.

8이것이 네 몸에 양약이 되어 네 골수를 윤택하게 하리라

9 kabbed כַּבֵּ֣ד honor et אֶת־ [obj] YHVH יְ֭הוָה LORD me-honecha מֵהוֹנֶ֑ךָ from-your-wealth u-me-reshit וּ֝מֵרֵאשִׁ֗ית and-from-firstfruits kol כָּל־ all t’vuatecha תְּבוּאָתֶֽךָ׃ your-increase

9Honor the LORD with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase:

9네 재물과 네 소산물의 처음 익은 열매로 여호와를 공경하라

10 v-yimmal’u וְיִמָּלְא֣וּ and-shall-be-filled asamecha אֲסָמֶ֣יךָ your-barns sava שָׂבָ֑ע plenty v-tirosh וְ֝תִיר֗וֹשׁ and-new-wine y’qavecha יְקָבֶ֥יךָ your-presses yifrotzu יִפְרֹֽצוּ׃ shall-burst-out

10So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine.

10그리하면 네 창고가 가득히 차고 네 포도즙 틀에 새 포도즙이 넘치리라

11 musar מוּסַ֣ר chastening YHVH יְ֭הוָה LORD b’ni בְּנִ֣י my-son al אַל־ not timas תִּמְאָ֑ס despise v-al וְאַל־ and-not taqotz תָּ֝קֹ֗ץ be-weary b-tochachto בְּתוֹכַחְתּֽוֹ׃ of-his-correction

11My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

11내 아들아 여호와의 징계를 경히 여기지 말라 그 꾸지람을 싫어하지 말라

12 ki כִּ֤י for et אֶ֥ת [obj] asher אֲשֶׁ֣ר whom ye’ehav יֶאֱהַ֣ב loves YHVH יְהוָ֣ה LORD yochiach יוֹכִ֑יחַ he-corrects uch-av וּ֝כְאָ֗ב and-as-father et אֶת־ [obj] ben בֵּ֥ן son yirtzeh יִרְצֶֽה׃ he-delights-in

12For whom the LORD loves he corrects; even as a father the son in whom he delights.

12대저 여호와께서 그 사랑하시는 자를 징계하시기를 마치 아비가 그 기뻐하는 아들을 징계함 같이 하시느니라

13 ashrei אַשְׁרֵ֣י happy adam אָ֭דָם man matza מָצָ֣א finds chochmah חָכְמָ֑ה wisdom v-adam וְ֝אָדָ֗ם and-man yafiq יָפִ֥יק gets t’vunah תְּבוּנָֽה׃ understanding

13Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding.

13지혜를 얻은 자와 명철을 얻은 자는 복이 있나니

14 ki כִּ֤י for tov ט֣וֹב better sachrah סַ֭חְרָהּ her-merchandise mis’char מִסְּחַר־ than-merchandise-of kasef כָּ֑סֶף silver u-me-charutz וּ֝מֵחָר֗וּץ and-than-gold t’vuatah תְּבוּאָתָֽהּ׃ her-gain

14For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain of it than fine gold.

14이는 지혜를 얻는 것이 은을 얻는 것보다 낫고 그 이익이 정금보다 나음이니라

15 y’qarah יְקָרָ֣ה precious hi הִ֭יא she mip’ninim מִפְּנִינִ֑ים than-rubies v-chol וְכָל־ and-all chafatzecha חֲ֝פָצֶ֗יךָ your-desires lo לֹ֣א not yishvu יִֽשְׁווּ־ can-compare vah בָֽהּ׃ with-her

15She is more precious than rubies: and all the things you can desire are not to be compared to her.

15지혜는 진주보다 귀하니 네가 사모하는 모든 것으로도 이에 비교할 수 없도다

16 orech אֹ֣רֶךְ length yamim יָ֭מִים days biminah בִּֽימִינָ֑הּ in-her-right bis’molah בִּ֝שְׂמֹאולָ֗הּ in-her-left osher עֹ֣שֶׁר riches v-chavod וְכָבֽוֹד׃ and-honor

16Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor.

16그의 오른손에는 장수가 있고 그의 왼손에는 부귀가 있나니

17 d’rachecha דְּרָכֶ֥יהָ her-ways darchei דַרְכֵי־ ways-of noam נֹ֑עַם pleasantness v-chol וְֽכָל־ and-all n’tivoteha נְתִ֖יבוֹתֶ֣יהָ her-paths shalom שָׁלֽוֹם׃ peace

17Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

17그 길은 즐거운 길이요 그의 모든 지름길은 평강이니라

18 etz עֵץ־ tree-of chayyim חַיִּ֣ים life hi הִ֭יא she la-machazikim לַמַּחֲזִיקִ֣ים to-those-holding bah בָּ֑הּ in-her v-tom’checha וְֽתֹמְכֶ֥יהָ and-those-retaining-her m’ushar מְאֻשָּֽׁר׃ happy

18She is a tree of life to them that lay hold on her: and happy is every one that retains her.

18지혜는 그 얻은 자에게 생명나무라 지혜를 가진 자는 복되도다

19 YHVH יְֽהוָ֗ה LORD b-chochmah בְּחָכְמָ֥ה by-wisdom yasad יָֽסַד־ founded aretz אָ֑רֶץ earth konen כּוֹנֵ֥ן established shamayim שָׁ֝מַ֗יִם heavens bit’vunah בִּתְבוּנָֽה׃ by-understanding

19The LORD by wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding has he established the heavens.

19여호와께서는 지혜로 땅에 터를 놓으셨으며 명철로 하늘을 견고히 세우셨고

20 b-da’to בְּ֭דַעְתּוֹ by-his-knowledge t’homot תְּהוֹמ֣וֹת depths nivqa’u נִבְקָ֑עוּ are-broken-up u-sh’chakim וּ֝שְׁחָקִ֗ים and-clouds yir’afu יִרְעֲפוּ־ drop-down tal טָֽל׃ dew

20By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

20그의 지식으로 깊은 물을 갈라지게 하셨으며 구름으로 이슬이 내리게 하셨느니라

21 b’ni בְּ֭נִי my-son al אַל־ not yaluzu יָלֻ֣זוּ let-depart me-einecha מֵעֵינֶ֑יךָ from-your-eyes n’tzor נְצֹ֥ר keep tushiyyah תֻּ֝שִׁיָּ֗ה sound-wisdom u-m’zimmah וּמְזִמָּֽה׃ and-discretion

21My son, let not them depart from your eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

21내 아들아 이것들을 네 눈에서 떠나게 하지 말며 완전한 지혜와 근신을 지키라

22 v-yihyu וְיִֽהְי֣וּ and-they-shall-be chayyim חַיִּ֣ים life l-nafshecha לְנַפְשֶׁ֑ךָ to-your-soul v-chen וְ֝חֵ֗ן and-grace l-garg’rotecha לְגַרְגְּרֹתֶֽיךָ׃ to-your-neck

22So shall they be life to your soul, and grace to your neck.

22그리하면 그것이 네 영혼의 생명이 되며 네 목에 장식이 되리니

23 az אָ֤ז then telech תֵּלֵ֣ךְ you-walk lavetach לָבֶ֣טַח safely darkecha דַּרְכֶּ֑ךָ your-way v-raglecha וְ֝רַגְלְךָ֗ and-your-foot lo לֹ֣א not tiggof תִגּֽוֹף׃ shall-stumble

23Then shall you walk in your way safely, and your foot shall not stumble.

23네가 네 길을 평안히 행하겠고 네 발이 거치지 아니하겠으며

24 im אִם־ if tishkav תִּשְׁכַּ֥ב you-lie-down lo לֹֽא־ not tifchad תִפְחָ֑ד you-afraid v-shachavta וְ֝שָׁכַבְתָּ֗ and-you-lie v-ar’vah וְֽעָרְבָ֥ה and-shall-be-sweet sh’natecha שְׁנָתֶֽךָ׃ your-sleep

24When you lie down, you shall not be afraid: yes, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.

24네가 누울 때에 두려워하지 아니하겠고 네가 누운즉 네 잠이 달리로다

25 al אַל־ not tira תִּ֭ירָא be-afraid mippachad מִפַּ֣חַד of-fear pitom פִּתְאֹ֑ם sudden u-mishoat וּמִשֹּׁאַ֥ת and-of-desolation r’shaim רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים wicked ki כִּ֣י when tavo תָבֹֽא׃ it-comes

25Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes.

25너는 갑작스러운 두려움도 악인에게 닥치는 멸망도 무서워하지 말라

26 ki כִּֽי־ for YHVH יְ֭הוָה LORD yihyeh יִהְיֶ֣ה shall-be v-kislecha בְכִסְלֶ֑ךָ your-confidence v-shamar וְשָׁמַ֖ר and-shall-keep raglecha רַגְלְךָ֣ your-foot millaked מִלָּֽכֶד׃ from-being-taken

26For the LORD shall be your confidence, and shall keep your foot from being taken.

26대저 여호와는 너의 의지할 이시라 네 발을 지켜 걸리지 않게 하시리라

27 al אַל־ not timna תִּמְנַע־ withhold tov ט֥וֹב good mib’alav מִבְּעָלָ֑יו from-its-owners bihyot בִּהְי֥וֹת when-it-is l-el לְאֵ֥ל in-power yadecha יָ֝דְךָ֗ your-hand la’asot לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ to-do

27Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.

27네 손이 선을 베풀 힘이 있거든 마땅히 받을 자에게 베풀기를 아끼지 말며

28 al אַל־ not tomar תֹּ֘אמַ֤ר say l-re’acha לְרֵֽעֲךָ֨ to-your-neighbor lech לֵ֣ךְ go vashuv וָ֭שׁוּב and-come-again u-machar וּמָחָ֥ר and-tomorrow etten אֶתֵּ֗ן I-will-give v-yesh וְיֵ֣שׁ when-there-is ittach אִתָּֽךְ׃ with-you

28Say not to your neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it by you.

28네게 있거든 이웃에게 이르기를 갔다가 다시 오라 내일 주겠노라 하지 말며

29 al אַל־ not tacharosh תַּחֲרֹ֣שׁ devise al עַל־ against re’acha רֵעֲךָ֣ your-neighbor ra’ah רָעָ֑ה evil v-hu וְהֽוּא־ and-he yoshev יוֹשֵׁ֖ב dwells lavetach לָבֶ֣טַח securely ittach אִתָּֽךְ׃ by-you

29Devise not evil against your neighbor, seeing he dwells securely by you.

29네 이웃이 네 곁에서 평안히 살거든 그를 해하려고 꾀하지 말며

30 al אַל־ not tariv תָּרִ֣יב strive im עִם־ with adam אָדָ֣ם man chinnam חִנָּ֑ם without-cause im אִם־ if lo לֹ֖א not g’malcha גְמָלְךָ֣ he-has-done-you ra’ah רָעָֽה׃ harm

30Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done you no harm.

30사람이 네게 악을 행하지 아니하였거든 까닭 없이 더불어 다투지 말며

31 al אַל־ not t’qanne תְּ֭קַנֵּא envy b-ish בְּאִ֣ישׁ man-of chamas חָמָ֑ס violence v-al וְאַל־ and-not tivchar תִּ֝בְחַ֗ר choose b-chol בְּכָל־ in-any d’rachav דְּרָכָֽיו׃ his-ways

31Envy not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

31포악한 자를 부러워하지 말며 그의 어떤 행위든지 따르지 말라

32 ki כִּ֤י for to’avat תוֹעֲבַ֣ת abomination YHVH יְהוָ֣ה LORD naloz נָל֑וֹז perverse v-et וְֽאֶת־ but-with y’sharim יְשָׁרִ֥ים upright sodo סוֹדֽוֹ׃ his-secret

32For the perverse is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.

32대저 패역한 자는 여호와께서 미워하시나 정직한 자에게는 그의 교통하심이 있으며

33 me’erat מְאֵרַ֣ת curse YHVH יְ֭הוָה LORD b-veit בְּבֵ֣ית in-house rasha רָשָׁ֑ע wicked u-n’veh וּנְוֵ֖ה but-habitation tzaddikim צַדִּיקִ֣ים righteous y’varech יְבָרֵֽךְ׃ he-blesses

33The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesses the habitation of the just.

33여호와의 저주가 악인의 집에 내리거니와 의인의 집에는 복이 있느니라

34 im אִם־ if la-letzim לַלֵּצִ֥ים to-the-scorners hu הֽוּא־ he yalitz יָלִ֑יץ scorns v-la-anavim וְ֝לַעֲנָוִ֗ים but-to-lowly yitten יִתֶּן־ gives chen חֵֽן׃ grace

34Surely he scorns the scorners: but he gives grace to the lowly.

34진실로 그는 거만한 자를 비웃으시며 겸손한 자에게 은혜를 베푸시나니

35 kavod כָּ֭בוֹד glory chachamim חֲכָמִ֣ים wise yinchalu יִנְחָ֑לוּ shall-inherit uch’silim וּ֝כְסִילִ֗ים but-fools merim מֵרִ֥ים shall-bear qalon קָלֽוֹן׃ shame

35The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

35지혜로운 자는 영광을 기업으로 받거니와 미련한 자의 영달함은 수치가 되느니라
