잠언 5장 (Proverbs Chapter 5)

1 b’ni בְּ֭נִי my-son l-chokhmati לְחָכְמָתִ֣י to-my-wisdom haqshivah הַקְשִׁ֑יבָה attend li-t’vunati לִ֝תְבוּנָתִ֗י to-my-understanding hat הַט־ bow ozn’kha אָזְנֶֽךָ׃ your-ear

1My son, attend to my wisdom, and bow your ear to my understanding:

1내 아들아 내 지혜에 주의하며 내 명철에 네 귀를 기울여서

2 lishmor לִשְׁמֹ֥ר that-you-may-regard m’zimmot מְזִמּ֑וֹת discretion v-da’at וְ֝דַ֗עַת and-knowledge s’fatekha שְׂפָתֶ֥יךָ your-lips yintzoru יִנְצֹֽרוּ׃ may-preserve

2That you may regard discretion, and that your lips may keep knowledge.

2근신을 지키며 네 입술로 지식을 지키도록 하라

3 ki כִּ֤י for nofet נֹ֣פֶת honeycomb tittofnah תִּ֭טֹּפְנָה drop siftei שִׂפְתֵ֣י lips-of zarah זָרָ֑ה strange-woman v-chalaq וְחָלָ֖ק and-smoother mi-shemen מִשֶּׁ֣מֶן than-oil chikkah חִכָּֽהּ׃ her-mouth

3For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

3대저 음녀의 입술은 꿀을 떨어뜨리며 그 입은 기름보다 미끄러우나

4 v-acharitah וְֽ֭אַחֲרִיתָהּ but-her-end marah מָרָ֣ה bitter kha-la’anah כַֽלַּעֲנָ֑ה as-wormwood chaddah חַ֝דָּ֗ה sharp k-cherev כְּחֶ֣רֶב as-sword piyyot פִּיּֽוֹת׃ two-edged

4But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

4나중은 쑥같이 쓰고 두 날 가진 칼같이 날카로우며

5 ragleha רַ֭גְלֶיהָ her-feet yordot יֹרְד֣וֹת go-down mavet מָ֑וֶת death sh’ol שְׁ֝א֗וֹל hell tza’adeha צְעָדֶ֥יהָ her-steps yitmokhu יִתְמֹֽכוּ׃ take-hold

5Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

5그 발은 사지로 내려가며 그 걸음은 음부로 나아가나니

6 pen פֶּ֣ן lest orach אֹ֣רַח path-of chayyim חַ֭יִּים life t’fales תְּפַלֵּ֑ס you-should-ponder na’u נָע֥וּ moveable ma’g’loteha מַ֝עְגְּלֹתֶ֗יהָ her-ways lo לֹ֣א not teda תֵדָֽע׃ can-you-know

6Lest you should ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that you can not know them.

6그는 생명의 평탄한 길을 찾지 못하며 자기 길이 든든치 못하여도 그것을 깨닫지 못하느니라

7 v-attah וְעַתָּ֣ה and-now banim בָ֭נִים sons shim’u שִׁמְעוּ־ hear-me li לִ֑י me v-al וְאַל־ and-not tasuru תָּ֝ס֗וּרוּ depart me-imrei מֵאִמְרֵי־ from-words-of fi פִֽי׃ my-mouth

7Hear me now therefore, O children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

7그런즉 아들들아 나를 들으며 내 입의 말을 버리지 말고

8 harcheq הַרְחֵ֣ק remove me-aleha מֵעָלֶ֣יהָ from-her darkekha דַרְכֶּ֑ךָ your-way v-al וְאַל־ and-not tiqrav תִּ֝קְרַ֗ב come-near el אֶל־ to petach פֶּ֣תַח door-of beitah בֵּיתָֽהּ׃ her-house

8Remove your way far from her, and come not near the door of her house:

8네 길을 그에게서 멀리하라 그 집 문에도 가까이 가지 말라

9 pen פֶּן־ lest titten תִּתֵּ֣ן you-give la-acherim לַאֲחֵרִ֣ים to-others hodekha הוֹדֶ֑ךָ your-honor u-sh’notekha וּ֝שְׁנֹתֶ֗יךָ and-your-years l-akhzari לְאַכְזָרִֽי׃ to-the-cruel

9Lest you give your honour to others, and your years to the cruel:

9두렵건대 네 존영이 남에게 잃어버리게 되며 네 수한이 잔포자에게 빼앗기게 될까 하노라

10 pen פֶּֽן־ lest yisb’u יִשְׂבְּע֣וּ be-filled zarim זָרִ֣ים strangers kochekha כֹּחֶ֑ךָ with-your-wealth va-atzaveikha וַ֝עֲצָבֶ֗יךָ and-your-labours b-veit בְּבֵ֣ית in-house-of nokhri נָכְרִֽי׃ stranger

10Lest strangers be filled with your wealth; and your labours be in the house of a stranger;

10두렵건대 타인이 네 재물로 충족하게 되며 네 수고한 것이 외인의 집에 있게 될까 하노라

11 v-nahamta וְנָהַמְתָּ֥ and-you-mourn b-acharitekha בְאַחֲרִיתֶ֑ךָ at-your-last bi-khlot בִּכְל֥וֹת when-consumed b’sarkha בְּ֝שָׂרְךָ֗ your-flesh u-sh’erekha וּשְׁאֵרֶֽךָ׃ and-your-body

11And you mourn at the last, when your flesh and your body are consumed,

11두렵건대 마지막에 이르러 네 몸, 네 육체가 쇠패할 때에 네가 한탄하여

12 v-amarta וְֽאָמַרְתָּ֗ and-say eikh אֵ֭יךְ how saneti שָׂנֵ֣אתִי have-I-hated musar מוּסָ֑ר instruction v-tokhachat וְ֝תוֹכַ֗חַת and-reproof na’atz נָאַ֥ץ despised libbi לִבִּֽי׃ my-heart

12And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

12말하기를 내가 어찌하여 훈계를 싫어하며 내 마음이 꾸지람을 가벼이 여기고

13 v-lo וְֽלֹא־ and-not shamati שָׁ֭מַעְתִּי I-obeyed b-qol בְּק֣וֹל voice-of morai מוֹרָ֑י my-teachers v-lim’lamdai וְ֝לִֽמְלַמְּדַ֗י and-to-my-instructors lo לֹא־ not hitteti הִטִּ֥יתִי inclined ozni אָזְנִֽי׃ my-ear

13And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

13내 선생의 목소리를 청종치 아니하며 나를 가르치는 이에게 귀를 기울이지 아니하였던고

14 kim’at כִּ֭מְעַט almost hayiti הָיִ֣יתִי I-was b-khol בְכָל־ in-all ra רָ֑ע evil b-tokh בְּת֖וֹךְ in-midst-of qahal קָהָ֣ל congregation v-edah וְעֵדָֽה׃ and-assembly

14I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

14많은 무리들이 모인 중에서 모든 악에 거의 빠지게 되었었노라 할까 하노라

15 sh’teh שְׁתֵה־ drink mayim מַ֥יִם waters mi-borekha מִבּוֹרֶ֑ךָ out-of-your-own-cistern v-nozlim וְ֝נֹזְלִ֗ים and-running-waters mi-tokh מִתּ֥וֹךְ out-of b’erekha בְּאֵרֶֽךָ׃ your-own-well

15Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out of your own well.

15너는 네 우물에서 물을 마시며 네 샘에서 흐르는 물을 마시라

16 yafutzu יָפ֣וּצוּ be-dispersed ma’y’notekha מַעְיְנֹתֶ֣יךָ your-fountains chutzah ח֑וּצָה abroad bar’chovot בָּ֝רְחֹב֗וֹת in-streets palgei פַּלְגֵי־ rivers-of mayim מָֽיִם׃ waters

16Let your fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

16어찌하여 네 샘물을 집 밖으로 넘치게 하며 네 도랑물을 거리로 흘러가게 하겠느냐

17 yihyu יִֽהְיוּ־ let-them-be l’kha לְךָ֥ only-your-own l’vaddekha לְבַדֶּ֑ךָ alone v-ein וְאֵ֖ין and-not l-zarim לְזָרִ֣ים strangers’ ittakh אִתָּֽךְ׃ with-you

17Let them be only your own, and not strangers’ with you.

17그 물로 네게만 있게 하고 타인으로 더불어 그것을 나누지 말라

18 y’hi יְהִֽי־ let-be m’qor’kha מְקוֹרְךָ֥ your-fountain varukh בָר֑וּךְ blessed u-s’mach וּ֝שְׂמַ֗ח and-rejoice me-eshet מֵאֵ֥שֶׁת with-wife-of n’urekha נְעוּרֶֽךָ׃ your-youth

18Let your fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of your youth.

18네 샘으로 복되게 하라 네가 젊어서 취한 아내를 즐거워하라

19 ayyelet אַיֶּ֥לֶת hind-of ahavim אֲהָבִ֗ים loves v-ya’alat וְֽיַעֲלַ֫ת־ and-roe-of chen חֵ֥ן grace daddeiha דַּ֭דֶּיהָ her-breasts y’ravvukha יְרַוֻּ֣ךָ let-satisfy-you v’khol בְכָל־ at-all et עֵ֑ת times b-ahavatah בְּ֝אַהֲבָתָ֗הּ with-her-love tishgeh תִּשְׁגֶּ֥ה be-ravished tamid תָמִֽיד׃ always

19Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and be you ravished always with her love.

19그는 사랑스러운 암사슴 같고 아름다운 암노루 같으니 너는 그 품을 항상 족하게 여기며 그 사랑을 항상 연모하라

20 v-lammah וְלָ֤מָּה and-why tishgeh תִשְׁגֶּ֣ה will-you-be-ravished v’ni בְנִ֣י my-son v-zarah בְזָרָ֑ה with-strange-woman ut’chabbeq וּ֝תְחַבֵּ֗ק and-embrace cheq חֵ֣ק bosom-of nokhri’yah נָכְרִיָּֽה׃ stranger

20And why will you, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

20내 아들아 어찌하여 음녀를 연모하겠으며 어찌하여 이방 계집의 가슴을 안겠느냐

21 ki כִּ֤י for nokhach נֹ֣כַח before einei עֵינֵ֣י eyes-of YHVH יְהוָ֑ה LORD darkei דַּרְכֵי־ ways-of ish אִ֝֗ישׁ man v-khol וְֽכָל־ and-all ma’g’lotav מַעְגְּלֹתָ֥יו his-goings m’falles מְפַלֵּֽס׃ he-ponders

21For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he ponders all his goings.

21대저 사람의 길은 여호와의 눈앞에 있나니 그가 그 모든 길을 평탄케 하시느니라

22 avonotav עַֽווֹנוֹתָ֗יו his-own-iniquities yilk’dunu יִלְכְּדֻנ֥וֹ shall-take et אֶת־ [obj] ha-rasha הָרָשָׁ֑ע the-wicked u-v’chavlei וּבְחַבְלֵ֥י and-with-cords-of chattato חַ֝טָּאת֗וֹ his-sins yittamekh יִתָּמֵֽךְ׃ he-shall-be-holden

22His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

22악인은 자기의 악에 걸리며 그 죄의 줄에 매이나니

23 hu ה֗וּא he yamut יָ֭מוּת shall-die b-ein בְּאֵ֣ין without musar מוּסָ֑ר instruction u-v’rov וּבְרֹ֖ב and-in-greatness-of ivvalto אִוַּלְתּ֣וֹ his-folly yishgeh יִשְׁגֶּֽה׃ he-shall-go-astray

23He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

23그는 훈계를 받지 아니함을 인하여 죽겠고 미련함이 많음을 인하여 혼미하게 되느니라
