잠언 6장 (Proverbs Chapter 6)
1 b’ni בְּנִ֡י my-son im אִם־ if aravta עָרַ֣בְתָּ you-are-surety l-re’echa לְרֵעֶ֑ךָ for-your-friend taqa’ta תָּקַ֖עְתָּ you-have-struck la-zar לַזָּ֣ר to-stranger kappeikha כַּפֶּֽיךָ׃ your-hands
1My son, if you are surety for your friend, if you have struck your hand with a stranger,
1내 아들아 네가 만일 이웃을 위하여 담보하며 타인을 위하여 보증하였으면
2 noqashta נוֹקַ֥שְׁתָּ you-are-snared v-imrei בְאִמְרֵי־ by-words-of fikha פִ֑יךָ your-mouth nilkadta נִ֝לְכַּ֗דְתָּ you-are-taken b-imrei בְּאִמְרֵי־ by-words-of fikha פִֽיךָ׃ your-mouth
2You are snared with the words of your mouth, you are taken with the words of your mouth.
2네 입의 말로 네가 얽혔으며 네 입의 말로 인하여 잡히게 되었느니라
3 aseh עֲשֵׂ֨ה do zot זֹ֥את this efo אֵפ֪וֹא now b’ni בְּנִ֡י my-son v-hinnatzel וְֽהִנָּצֵ֗ל and-deliver-yourself ki כִּ֘י when vata בָ֤אתָ you-have-come v-chaf בְכַף־ into-hand-of re’echa רֵעֶ֑ךָ your-friend lech לֵ֥ךְ go hitrapes הִ֝תְרַפֵּ֗ס humble-yourself u-r’hav וּרְהַ֥ב and-make-sure re’echa רֵעֶֽיךָ׃ your-friend
3Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself, when you have come into the hand of your friend; go, humble yourself, and make sure your friend.
3내 아들아 네가 네 이웃의 손에 빠졌은즉 이같이 하라 너는 곧 가서 겸손히 네 이웃에게 간구하여 스스로 구원하되
4 al אַל־ not titten תִּתֵּ֣ן give shena שֵׁנָ֣ה sleep l-einecha לְעֵינֶ֑יךָ to-your-eyes u-t’numa וּ֝תְנוּמָ֗ה nor-slumber l-af’appeikha לְעַפְעַפֶּֽיךָ׃ to-your-eyelids
4Give not sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.
4네 눈으로 잠들게 하지 말며 눈꺼풀로 감기게 하지 말고
5 hinnatzel הִ֭נָּצֵל deliver-yourself kitz’vi כִּצְבִ֣י as-roe mi-yad מִיָּ֑ד from-hand uch’tzippor וּ֝כְצִפּ֗וֹר and-as-bird mi-yad מִיַּ֥ד from-hand-of yaqush יָקֽוּשׁ׃ fowler
5Deliver yourself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
5노루가 사냥꾼의 손에서 벗어나는 것 같이, 새가 그물 치는 자의 손에서 벗어나는 것 같이 스스로 구원하라
6 lech לֵֽךְ־ go el אֶל־ to n’mala נְמָלָ֥ה ant atzel עָצֵ֑ל sluggard r’eh רְאֵ֖ה consider d’racheha דְרָכֶ֣יהָ her-ways va-chacham וַחֲכָֽם׃ and-be-wise
6Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
6게으른 자여 개미에게 가서 그가 하는 것을 보고 지혜를 얻으라
7 asher אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ein אֵֽין־ no lah לָ֣הּ to-her qatzin קָצִ֑ין guide shoter שֹׁ֝טֵ֗ר overseer u-moshel וּמֹשֵֽׁל׃ or-ruler
7Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
7개미는 두령도 없고 감독자도 없고 통치자도 없으되
8 tachin תָּכִ֣ין provides ba-qayitz בַּקַּ֣יִץ in-summer lachma לַחְמָ֑הּ her-meat ag’ra אָגְרָ֥ה gathers va-qatzir בַ֝קָּצִ֗יר in-harvest ma’achala מַאֲכָלָֽהּ׃ her-food
8Provides her meat in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.
8먹을 것을 여름 동안에 예비하며 추수 때에 양식을 모으느니라
9 ad עַד־ until matay מָתַ֖י when atzel עָצֵ֣ל sluggard tishkav תִּשְׁכָּ֑ב will-you-sleep matay מָ֝תַ֗י when taqum תָּק֥וּם will-you-arise mish’natecha מִשְּׁנָתֶֽךָ׃ out-of-your-sleep
9How long will you sleep, O sluggard? when will you arise out of your sleep?
9게으른 자여 네가 어느 때까지 누워 있겠느냐 네가 어느 때에 잠이 깨어 일어나겠느냐
10 m’at מְעַ֣ט a-little shenot שֵׁ֭נוֹת sleep m’at מְעַ֣ט a-little t’numot תְּנוּמ֑וֹת slumber m’at מְעַ֓ט׀ a-little chibbuq חִבֻּ֖ק folding yadayim יָדַ֣יִם hands lishkav לִשְׁכָּֽב׃ to-sleep
10Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
10좀더 자자, 좀더 졸자, 손을 모으고 좀더 누워 있자 하면
11 u-va וּבָֽא־ and-shall-come kim’halech כִמְהַלֵּ֥ךְ as-one-that-travels reshecha רֵאשֶׁ֑ךָ your-poverty u-machsorecha וּ֝מַחְסֹֽרְךָ֗ and-your-want k-ish כְּאִ֣ישׁ as-man magen מָגֵֽן׃ armed
11So shall your poverty come as one that travels, and your want as an armed man.
11네 빈궁이 강도 같이 오며 네 곤핍이 군사 같이 이르리라
12 adam אָדָ֣ם man b’liyya’al בְּלִיַּ֣עַל of-Belial ish אִ֣ישׁ man aven אָ֑וֶן wicked holech ה֝וֹלֵ֗ךְ walks iqqeshut עִקְּשׁ֥וּת with-perverse peh פֶּֽה׃ mouth
12A naughty person, a wicked man, walks with a perverse mouth.
12불량하고 악한 자는 구부러진 말을 하고 다니며
13 qoretz קֹרֵ֣ץ winks b-einav בְּ֭עֵינָיו with-his-eyes molel מֹלֵ֣ל speaks b-raglav בְּרַגְלָ֑יו with-his-feet moreh מֹ֝רֶ֗ה teaches b-etzb’otav בְּאֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו׃ with-his-fingers
13He winks with his eyes, he speaks with his feet, he teaches with his fingers;
13눈짓을 하며 발로 뜻을 보이며 손가락질을 하며
14 tahpuchot תַּֽהְפֻּכ֣וֹת perverseness b-libbo בְּ֭לִבּוֹ in-his-heart choresh חֹרֵ֣שׁ he-devises ra רָ֑ע mischief b-chol בְּכָל־ at-all et עֵ֝֗ת times midanim מִדְיָנִ֥ים discord y’shalle’ach יְשַׁלֵּֽחַ׃ he-sows
14Perverseness is in his heart, he devises mischief continually; he sows discord.
14그의 마음에 패역을 품으며 항상 악을 꾀하여 다툼을 일으키는 자라
15 al עַל־ therefore ken כֵּ֗ן thus pit’om פִּ֭תְאֹם suddenly yavo יָב֣וֹא shall-come eido אֵיד֑וֹ his-calamity peta פֶּ֥תַע suddenly yishaver יִ֝שָּׁבֵ֗ר shall-he-be-broken v-ein וְאֵ֣ין and-without marpe מַרְפֵּֽא׃ remedy
15Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
15그러므로 그의 재앙이 갑자기 내려 당장에 멸망하여 살릴 길이 없으리라
16 shesh שֶׁשׁ־ six henna הֵ֭נָּה these sane שָׂנֵ֣א hates YHVH יְהוָ֑ה LORD v-sheva וְ֝שֶׁ֗בַע and-seven to’avat תּוֹעֲבַ֥ת abomination nafsho נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ to-his-soul
16These six things does the LORD hate: yes, seven are an abomination to him:
16여호와께서 미워하시는 것 곧 그의 마음에 싫어하시는 것이 예닐곱 가지이니
17 einayim עֵינַ֣יִם eyes ramot רָ֭מוֹת proud l’shon לְשׁ֣וֹן tongue shaqer שָׁ֑קֶר lying v-yadayim וְ֝יָדַ֗יִם and-hands shof’chot שֹׁפְכ֥וֹת that-shed dam דָּם־ blood naqi נָקִֽי׃ innocent
17A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
17곧 교만한 눈과 거짓된 혀와 무죄한 자의 피를 흘리는 손과
18 lev לֵ֗ב heart choresh חֹ֭רֵשׁ that-devises machsh’vot מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת imaginations aven אָ֑וֶן wicked raglayim רַגְלַ֥יִם feet m’mahrot מְ֝מַהֲר֗וֹת that-be-swift larutz לָר֥וּץ to-run la-ra’a לָֽרָעָה׃ to-mischief
18A heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief,
18악한 계교를 꾀하는 마음과 빨리 악으로 달려가는 발과
19 yafi’ach יָפִ֣יחַ that-speaks k’zavim כְּ֭זָבִים lies ed עֵ֣ד witness shaqer שָׁ֑קֶר false u-m’shalle’ach וּמְשַׁלֵּ֥חַ and-he-that-sows m’danim מְ֝דָנִ֗ים discord bein בֵּ֣ין among achim אַחִֽים׃ brothers
19A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brothers.
19거짓을 말하는 망령된 증인과 및 형제 사이를 이간하는 자이니라
20 n’tzor נְצֹ֣ר keep b’ni בְּ֭נִי my-son mitzvat מִצְוַ֣ת commandment-of avicha אָבִ֑יךָ your-father v-al וְאַל־ and-not titosh תִּ֝טֹּ֗שׁ forsake torat תּוֹרַ֥ת law-of immecha אִמֶּֽךָ׃ your-mother
20My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of your mother:
20내 아들아 네 아비의 명령을 지키며 네 어미의 법을 떠나지 말고
21 qoshrem קָשְׁרֵ֣ם bind-them al עַל־ upon libbecha לִבְּךָ֣ your-heart tamid תָמִ֑יד continually ondem עָ֝נְדֵ֗ם tie-them al עַל־ about gargerotecha גַּרְגְּרוֹתֶֽךָ׃ your-neck
21Bind them continually upon your heart, and tie them about your neck.
21그것을 항상 네 마음에 새기며 네 목에 매라
22 b-hit’hallechcha בְּהִתְהַלֶּכְךָ֨ when-you-go tanche תַּנְחֶ֬ה it-shall-lead otach אֹתָ֗ךְ you b-shochb’cha בְּֽ֭שָׁכְבְּךָ when-you-sleep tishmor תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר it-shall-keep alecha עָלֶ֑יךָ you va-haqitzota וַ֝הֲקִיצ֗וֹתָ and-when-you-awake hi הִ֣יא it t’sichecha תְשִׂיחֶֽךָ׃ shall-talk-with-you
22When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you awake, it shall talk with you.
22그것이 네가 다닐 때에 너를 인도하며 네가 잘 때에 너를 보호하며 네가 깰 때에 너와 더불어 말하리니
23 ki כִּ֤י for ner נֵ֣ר lamp mitzva מִ֭צְוָה commandment v-torah וְת֣וֹרָה and-law or א֑וֹר light v-derech וְדֶ֥רֶךְ and-way-of chayyim חַ֝יִּ֗ים life toch’chot תּוֹכְח֥וֹת reproofs-of musar מוּסָֽר׃ instruction
23For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
23대저 명령은 등불이요 법은 빛이요 훈계의 책망은 곧 생명의 길이라
24 lishmor’cha לִ֭שְׁמָרְךָ to-keep-you me-eshet מֵאֵ֣שֶׁת from-woman-of ra רָ֑ע evil me-chelqat מֵֽ֝חֶלְקַ֗ת from-flattery-of lashon לָשׁ֥וֹן tongue nochriyya נָכְרִיָּֽה׃ strange-woman
24To keep you from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.
24이것이 너를 지켜서 악한 여인에게, 이방 계집의 혀로 호리는 말에 빠지지 않게 하리라
25 al אַל־ not tachmud תַּחְמֹ֣ד lust-after yofya יָ֭פְיָהּ her-beauty bilvavecha בִּלְבָבֶ֑ךָ in-your-heart v-al וְאַל־ neither tiqqachcha תִּ֝קָּחֲךָ֗ let-her-take-you b-af’appeha בְּעַפְעַפֶּֽיהָ׃ with-her-eyelids
25Lust not after her beauty in your heart; neither let her take you with her eyelids.
25네 마음에 그의 아름다움을 탐하지 말며 그 눈꺼풀에 홀리지 말라
26 ki כִּ֤י for v’ad בְעַד־ by-means-of isha אִשָּׁ֣ה woman zona ז֭וֹנָה whorish ad עַֽד־ to kikkar כִּכַּ֣ר piece-of lachem לָ֑חֶם bread v-eshet וְאֵ֥שֶׁת and-wife-of ish אִ֝֗ישׁ man nefesh נֶ֣פֶשׁ soul y’qara יְקָרָ֥ה precious tatzud תָצֽוּד׃ will-hunt-for
26For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
26음녀로 말미암아 사람이 한 조각 떡만 남게 됨이며 음란한 여인은 귀한 생명을 사냥함이니라
27 ha-yachte הֲיַחְתֶּ֤ה can-take ish אִ֣ישׁ a-man esh אֵ֭שׁ fire b-cheiqo בְּחֵיק֑וֹ in-his-bosom u-v’gadav וּ֝בְגָדָ֗יו and-his-clothes lo לֹ֣א not tisarafna תִשָּׂרַֽפְנָה׃ be-burned
27Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
27사람이 불을 품에 품고서야 어찌 그의 옷이 타지 아니하겠으며
28 im אִם־ if y’hallech יְהַלֵּ֣ךְ one-go ish אִ֭ישׁ a-man al עַל־ upon ha-gechalim הַגֶּחָלִ֑ים hot-coals v-raglav וְ֝רַגְלָ֗יו and-his-feet lo לֹ֣א not tikkaveina תִכָּוֶֽינָה׃ be-burned
28Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
28사람이 숯불을 밟고서야 어찌 그의 발이 데지 아니하겠느냐
29 ken כֵּ֗ן so ha-ba הַ֭בָּא he-who-goes el אֶל־ to eshet אֵ֣שֶׁת wife-of re’ehu רֵעֵ֑הוּ his-neighbor lo לֹ֥א not yinnaqe יִ֝נָּקֶ֗ה be-innocent kol כָּֽל־ whoever ha-nogea הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ touches ba בָּֽהּ׃ her
29So he that goes in to his neighbor’s wife; whoever touches her shall not be innocent.
29남의 아내와 통간하는 자도 이와 같을 것이라 그를 만지는 자마다 죄 없게 되지 아니하리라
30 lo לֹא־ not yavuzu יָב֣וּזוּ do-men-despise la-gannav לַ֭גַּנָּב a-thief ki כִּ֣י if yignov יִגְנ֑וֹב he-steal l-male לְמַלֵּ֥א to-satisfy nafsho נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ his-soul ki כִּ֣י when yir’av יִרְעָֽב׃ he-is-hungry
30Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
30도둑이 만일 주릴 때에 배를 채우려고 도둑질하면 사람이 그를 멸시하지는 아니하려니와
31 v-nimtza וְ֭נִמְצָא but-if-he-be-found y’shallem יְשַׁלֵּ֣ם he-shall-restore shiv’atayim שִׁבְעָתָ֑יִם sevenfold et אֶת־ [obj] kol כָּל־ all hon ה֖וֹן substance-of beito בֵּית֣וֹ his-house yitten יִתֵּֽן׃ he-shall-give
31But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
31들키면 칠 배를 갚아야 하리니 심지어 자기 집에 있는 것을 다 내주게 되리라
32 noef נֹאֵ֣ף committing-adultery-with isha אִשָּׁ֣ה woman chasar חֲסַר־ lacks lev לֵ֑ב heart mashchit מַֽשְׁחִ֥ית destroys nafsho נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ his-own-soul hu ה֣וּא he ya’asenna יַעֲשֶֽׂנָּה׃ that-does-it
32But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding: he that does it destroys his own soul.
32여인과 간음하는 자는 무지한 자라 이것을 행하는 자는 자기의 영혼을 망하게 하며
33 nega נֶֽגַע־ wound v-qalon וְקָל֥וֹן and-dishonor yimtza יִמְצָ֑א shall-he-get v-cherpato וְ֝חֶרְפָּת֗וֹ and-his-reproach lo לֹ֣א not timmache תִמָּחֶֽה׃ shall-be-wiped-away
33A wound and dishonor shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
33상함과 능욕을 받고 부끄러움을 씻을 수 없게 되나니
34 ki כִּֽי־ for qin’a קִנְאָ֥ה jealousy chamat חֲמַת־ rage-of gaver גָּ֑בֶר man v-lo וְלֹֽא־ and-not yachmol יַ֝חְמ֗וֹל will-he-spare b-yom בְּי֣וֹם in-day-of naqam נָקָֽם׃ vengeance
34For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
34그 남편이 투기로 분노하여 원수를 갚는 날에 용서하지 아니하고
35 lo לֹא־ not yissa יִ֭שָּׂא he-will-regard p’nei פְּנֵ֣י any chol כָל־ all kofer כֹּ֑פֶר ransom v-lo וְלֹֽא־ neither yove יֹ֝אבֶ֗ה will-he-rest-content ki כִּ֣י though tarbe תַרְבֶּה־ you-give-many shochad שֹֽׁחַד׃ gifts
35He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.
35아무 벌금도 받지 아니하며 많은 선물을 줄지라도 듣지 아니하리라
