잠언 7장 (Proverbs Chapter 7)

1 b’ni בְּנִי my-son sh’mor שְׁמֹר keep amaray אֲמָרָי my-words u-mitzvotay וּמִצְוֹתַי and-my-commandments titzpon תִּצְפֹּן store-up itakh אִתָּךְ with-you

1My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you.

1내 아들아 내 말을 지키며 내 계명을 네게 간직하라

2 sh’mor שְׁמֹר keep mitzvotay מִצְוֹתַי my-commandments vech’yeh וֶחְיֵה and-live v’torati וְתוֹרָתִי and-my-law k’ishon כְּאִישׁוֹן as-apple-of einekha עֵינֶיךָ your-eyes

2Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.

2내 계명을 지켜 살며 내 법을 네 눈동자처럼 지키라

3 qoshrem קָשְׁרֵם bind-them al עַל upon etzb’otekha אֶצְבְּעֹתֶיךָ your-fingers kotvem כָּתְבֵם write-them al עַל upon luach לוּחַ tablet-of libekha לִבֶּךָ your-heart

3Bind them upon your fingers, write them upon the table of your heart.

3이것을 네 손가락에 매며 이것을 네 마음판에 새기라

4 emor אֱמֹר say lachokhmah לַחָכְמָה to-wisdom achoti אֲחֹתִי my-sister at אָתְּ you-are u-moda וּמֹדָע and-kinsman labinah לַבִּינָה to-understanding tiqra תִקְרָא call

4Say to wisdom, You are my sister; and call understanding your kinswoman:

4지혜에게 너는 내 누이라 하며 명철에게 너는 내 친족이라 하라

5 lishmarkha לִשְׁמָרְךָ to-keep-you me’ishah מֵאִשָּׁה from-woman zarah זָרָה strange mi-nokhriyah מִנָּכְרִיָּה from-stranger amareyha אֲמָרֶיהָ her-words hecheliqah הֶחֱלִיקָה she-flatters

5That they may keep you from the strange woman, from the stranger which flatters with her words.

5그리하면 이것들이 너를 음녀에게서, 말로 호리는 이방 계집에게서 지켜 주리라

6 ki כִּי for b’chalon בְחַלּוֹן at-window-of beiti בֵּיתִי my-house b’ad בְּעַד through eshnabi אֶשְׁנַבִּי my-casement nishqafti נִשְׁקָפְתִּי I-looked

6For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,

6내가 내 집 들창으로, 살창으로 내다보다가

7 va’ereh וָאֵרֶא and-I-saw bap’tayim בַפְּתָאיִם among-simple-ones avinah אָבִינָה I-discerned babanim בַבָּנִים among-youths na’ar נַעַר young-man chasar חֲסַר void-of lev לֵב understanding

7And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,

7어리석은 자 중에, 젊은이 가운데에 한 지혜 없는 자를 보았노라

8 over עֹבֵר passing bashuq בַּשּׁוּק through-street etzel אֵצֶל near pinah פִּנָּהּ her-corner v’derekh וְדֶרֶךְ and-way-of beitah בֵּיתָהּ her-house yitz’ad יִצְעָד he-went

8Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,

8그가 거리를 지나 음녀의 골목 모퉁이로 가까이 가서 그의 집 쪽으로 가는데

9 b’neshef בְּנֶשֶׁף in-twilight b’erev בְּעֶרֶב in-evening yom יוֹם of-day b’ishon בְּאִישׁוֹן in-black laylah לַיְלָה night va’afelah וַאֲפֵלָה and-darkness

9In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:

9저물 때, 황혼 때, 깊은 밤 흑암 중에라

10 v’hineh וְהִנֵּה and-behold ishah אִשָּׁה woman liqrato לִקְרָאתוֹ to-meet-him shit שִׁית attire-of zonah זוֹנָה harlot u-n’tzurat וּנְצֻרַת and-subtle-of lev לֵב heart

10And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of a harlot, and subtle of heart.

10그 때에 기생의 옷을 입은 간교한 여인이 그를 맞으니

11 homiyah הֹמִיָּה loud hi הִיא she v’soraret וְסֹרָרֶת and-stubborn b’veitah בְּבֵיתָהּ in-her-house lo לֹא not yishk’nu יִשְׁכְּנוּ abide ragleha רַגְלֶיהָ her-feet

11(She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

11이 여인은 떠들며 완패하며 그의 발이 집에 머물지 아니하여

12 pa’am פַּעַם now bachutz בַּחוּץ in-streets pa’am פַּעַם now bar’chovot בָּרְחֹבוֹת in-squares v’etzel וְאֵצֶל and-by kol כָּל every pinah פִּנָּה corner te’erov תֶאֱרֹב she-lies-in-wait

12Now is she outside, now in the streets, and lies in wait at every corner.)

12어떤 때에는 거리, 어떤 때에는 광장 어느 모퉁이에서든지 사람을 기다리는 자라

13 v’hecheziqah וְהֶחֱזִיקָה so-she-caught bo בּוֹ him v’nashqah וְנָשְׁקָה and-kissed lo לּוֹ him he’ezah הֵעֵזָה impudent faneha פָנֶיהָ her-face vatomer וַתֹּאמַר and-said lo לוֹ to-him

13So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said to him,

13그 여인이 그를 붙잡고 그에게 입을 맞추며 부끄러움을 모르는 얼굴로 그에게 말하되

14 zivchei זִבְחֵי sacrifices-of sh’lamim שְׁלָמִים peace alay עָלָי upon-me hayom הַיּוֹם this-day shilamti שִׁלַּמְתִּי I-have-paid n’daray נְדָרָי my-vows

14I have peace offerings with me; this day have I paid my vows.

14내가 화목제를 드려서 서원한 것을 오늘 갚았노라

15 al-ken עַל־כֵּן therefore yatzati יָצָאתִי I-came-out liqratekha לִקְרָאתֶךָ to-meet-you l’shacher לְשַׁחֵר diligently-to-seek panekha פָּנֶיךָ your-face va’emtza’eka וָאֶמְצָאֶךָּ and-I-have-found-you

15Therefore came I forth to meet you, diligently to seek your face, and I have found you.

15이러므로 내가 너를 맞으려고 나와 네 얼굴을 찾다가 너를 만났도다

16 marvadim מַרְבַדִּים coverings ravadti רָבַדְתִּי I-have-decked arsi עַרְשִׂי my-bed chatuvot חֲטֻבוֹת with-coverings etun אֵטוּן with-tapestry mitzrayim מִצְרָיִם of-Egypt

16I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.

16내 침상에는 화려한 요와 애굽의 무늬 있는 이불을 폈고

17 nafti נַפְתִּי I-have-perfumed mishkavi מִשְׁכָּבִי my-bed mor מֹר myrrh ahalim אֲהָלִים aloes v’qinamon וְקִנָּמוֹן and-cinnamon

17I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

17몰약과 침향과 계피를 뿌렸노라

18 l’khah לְכָה come nirveh נִרְוֶה let-us-take-our-fill dodim דֹדִים of-love ad עַד until haboqer הַבֹּקֶר the-morning nit’al’sah נִתְעַלְּסָה let-us-solace-ourselves ba’ahavim בָּאֳהָבִים with-loves

18Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

18오라 우리가 아침까지 흡족하게 서로 사랑하며 사랑함으로 희락하자

19 ki כִּי for ein אֵין is-not ha’ish הָאִישׁ the-good-man b’veito בְּבֵיתוֹ at-home halakh הָלַךְ he-is-gone b’derekh בְּדֶרֶךְ journey me-rachoq מֵרָחוֹק long

19For the good man is not at home, he is gone a long journey:

19남편은 집을 떠나 먼 길을 갔는데

20 tz’ror צְרוֹר bag-of hakesef הַכֶּסֶף money laqach לָקַח he-has-taken b’yado בְּיָדוֹ with-him l’yom לְיוֹם at-day-of hakese הַכֵּסֶא the-appointed yavo יָבֹא he-will-come veito בֵיתוֹ home

20He has taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

20은 주머니를 가졌은즉 보름날에나 집에 돌아오리라 하여

21 hitatu הִטַּתּוּ she-caused-him-to-yield b’rov בְּרֹב with-much liqchah לִקְחָהּ fair-speech b’cheleq בְּחֵלֶק with-flattering-of s’fateyha שְׂפָתֶיהָ her-lips tadichenu תַּדִּיחֶנּוּ she-forced-him

21With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

21여러 가지 고운 말로 혹하게 하며 입술의 호리는 말로 꾀므로

22 holekh הוֹלֵךְ he-goes achareyha אַחֲרֶיהָ after-her pitom פִּתְאֹם straightway k’shor כְּשׁוֹר as-ox el אֶל to tavach טָבַח slaughter yavo יָבוֹא goes ukh’ekhes וּכְעֶכֶס or-as-fool el אֶל to musar מוּסַר correction-of evil אֱוִיל stocks

22He goes after her straightway, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

22젊은이가 곧 그를 따랐으니 소가 도수장으로 가는 것 같고 미련한 자가 벌을 받으려고 쇠사슬에 매이러 가는 것과 같도다

23 ad עַד till y’falach יְפַלַּח strikes-through chetz חֵץ dart k’vedo כְּבֵדוֹ his-liver k’maher כְּמַהֵר as-hastens tzipor צִפּוֹר bird el אֶל to pach פָּח snare v’lo וְלֹא and-not yada יָדַע knows ki כִּי that v’nafsho בְנַפְשׁוֹ for-his-life hu הוּא it-is

23Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hastens to the snare, and knows not that it is for his life.

23필경은 화살이 그 간을 뚫게 되리라 새가 빨리 그물로 들어가되 그의 생명을 잃어버릴 줄을 알지 못함과 같으니라

24 v’atah וְעַתָּה now-therefore vanim בָנִים children shim’u שִׁמְעוּ hearken li לִי to-me v’haqshivu וְהַקְשִׁיבוּ and-attend l’imrei לְאִמְרֵי to-words-of fi פִי my-mouth

24Hearken to me now therefore, O you children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

24이제 아들들아 나의 말을 듣고 내 입의 말에 주의하라

25 al אַל let-not yest יֵשְׂטְ decline el אֶל to d’rakheyha דְּרָכֶיהָ her-ways libekha לִבֶּךָ your-heart al אַל not teta תֵּתַע go-astray bin’tivoteyha בִּנְתִיבוֹתֶיהָ in-her-paths

25Let not your heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

25네 마음이 음녀의 길로 치우치지 말며 그 길에 미혹되지 말지어다

26 ki כִּי for rabim רַבִּים many chalalim חֲלָלִים wounded hipilah הִפִּילָה she-has-cast-down va’atzumim וַעֲצֻמִים yea-many-strong-men kol כָּל all harugeyha הֲרֻגֶיהָ slain-by-her

26For she has cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

26대저 그가 많은 사람을 상하여 엎드러지게 하였나니 그에게 죽은 자가 허다하니라

27 darkei דַּרְכֵי ways-of sh’ol שְׁאוֹל hell beitah בֵּיתָהּ her-house yordot יֹרְדוֹת going-down el אֶל to chadrei חַדְרֵי chambers-of mavet מָוֶת death

27Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

27그의 집은 스올의 길이라 사망의 방으로 내려가느니라
