잠언 21장 – 삼중번역

1 palgei פַּלְגֵי־ streams-of mayim מַיִם water lev לֶב־ heart-of melekh מֶלֶךְ king b’yad בְּיַד־ in-hand-of YHVH יְהוָה LORD al עַל־ to kol כָּל־ all asher אֲשֶׁר־ which yachpotz יַחְפֹּץ He-desires yatennu יַטֶּנּוּ׃ He-turns-it

1The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he will.

1왕의 마음이 여호와의 손에 있음이 마치 물 시냇물 같아서 그가 임의로 인도하시느니라

2 kol כָּל־ every derekh דֶּרֶךְ־ way-of ish אִישׁ man yashar יָשָׁר right b’einav בְּעֵינָיו in-his-eyes v’token וְתֹכֵן but-weighs libbot לִבּוֹת hearts YHVH יְהוָה׃ LORD

2Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD ponders the hearts.

2사람의 행위가 자기 보기에는 모두 정직하여도 여호와는 마음을 감찰하시느니라

3 asot עֲשֹׂה to-do tzedaqah צְדָקָה righteousness u-mishpat וּמִשְׁפָּט and-justice nivchar נִבְחָר chosen la-YHVH לַיהוָה to-LORD mi-zavach מִזָּבַח׃ than-sacrifice

3To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

3의와 공평을 행하는 것은 제사 드리는 것보다 여호와께서 기쁘게 여기시느니라

4 rum רוּם־ high einayim עֵינַיִם eyes u-rchav וּרְחַב־ and-proud lev לֵב heart nir נִר lamp r’sha’im רְשָׁעִים wicked chatat חַטָּאת׃ sin

4A high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

4눈이 높은 것과 마음이 교만한 것과 악인이 형통한 것은 다 죄니라

5 machsh’vot מַחְשְׁבוֹת thoughts-of charutz חָרוּץ diligent akh אַךְ־ surely l’motar לְמוֹתָר to-plenty v’khol וְכָל־ and-every atz אָץ hasty akh אַךְ־ surely l’machsor לְמַחְסוֹר׃ to-want

5The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

5부지런한 자의 경영은 풍부함에 이를 것이나 조급한 자는 궁핍함에 이를 따름이니라

6 po’al פֹּעַל making otzarot אֹצָרוֹת treasures bi-l’shon בִּלְשׁוֹן by-tongue shaqer שָׁקֶר lying hevel הֶבֶל vanity nidaf נִדָּף tossed m’vaqshei מְבַקְשֵׁי־ seekers-of mavet מָוֶת׃ death

6The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

6속이는 말로 재물을 모으는 것은 죽음을 구하는 것이라 곧 불려다니는 안개니라

7 shod שֹׁד־ destruction-of r’sha’im רְשָׁעִים wicked y’goreim יְגוֹרֵם shall-destroy-them ki כִּי because me’anu מֵאֲנוּ they-refuse la’asot לַעֲשׂוֹת to-do mishpat מִשְׁפָּט׃ justice

7The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.

7악인의 강포는 자기를 소멸하나니 이는 공의 행하기를 싫어함이니라

8 hafakhpakh הֲפַכְפַּךְ perverse derekh דֶּרֶךְ way ish אִישׁ man vazar וָזָר and-guilty v’zakh וְזַךְ but-pure yashar יָשָׁר right po’alo פָּעֳלוֹ׃ his-work

8The way of man is perverse and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.

8죄를 크게 범한 자의 길은 심히 구부러지고 깨끗한 자의 길은 곧으니라

9 tov טוֹב better lashevet לָשֶׁבֶת to-dwell al עַל־ on pinnat פִּנַּת־ corner-of gag גָּג housetop me-eshet מֵאֵשֶׁת than-woman midyanim מִדְיָנִים contentions u-veit וּבֵית and-house chaver חָבֶר׃ shared

9It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

9다투는 여인과 함께 큰 집에서 사는 것보다 움막에서 혼자 사는 것이 나으니라

10 nefesh נֶפֶשׁ soul rasha רָשָׁע wicked iv’tah אִוְּתָה־ desires ra רָע evil lo לֹא־ not yuchan יֻחַן finds-favor b’einav בְּעֵינָיו in-his-eyes re’ehu רֵעֵהוּ׃ his-neighbor

10The soul of the wicked desires evil: his neighbor finds no favor in his eyes.

10악인의 마음은 악을 품고 그 이웃에게 은혜를 베풀지 아니하느니라

11 ba’anosh בַּעֲנָשׁ־ when-punished letz לֵץ mocker yechkam יֶחְכַּם־ becomes-wise peti פֶּתִי simple uv-haskil וּבְהַשְׂכִּיל and-when-instructed l’chakham לְחָכָם to-wise yiqqach יִקַּח־ he-receives da’at דָּעַת׃ knowledge

11When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge.

11거만한 자가 벌을 받으면 어리석은 자도 지혜를 얻겠고 지혜로운 자가 교훈을 받으면 지식이 더하리라

12 maskil מַשְׂכִּיל considers tzaddiq צַדִּיק righteous l’veit לְבֵית to-house rasha רָשָׁע wicked m’sallef מְסַלֵּף overthrows r’sha’im רְשָׁעִים wicked la-ra לָרָע׃ to-ruin

12The righteous man wisely considers the house of the wicked: but God overthrows the wicked for their wickedness.

12의로우신 이는 악인의 집을 감찰하시고 악인을 환난에 던지시느니라

13 otem אֹטֵם stops ozno אָזְנוֹ his-ears mi-za’aqat מִזַּעֲקַת־ from-cry-of dal דָּל poor gam גַּם־ also hu הוּא he yiqra יִקְרָא shall-cry v’lo וְלֹא and-not ye’aneh יֵעָנֶה׃ be-answered

13Whoever stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

13귀를 막고 가난한 자가 부르짖는 소리를 듣지 아니하면 자기가 부르짖을 때에도 들을 자가 없으리라

14 mattan מַתָּן gift ba-seter בַּסֵּתֶר in-secret yikhpeh יִכְפֶּה־ pacifies af אָף anger v’shochad וְשֹׁחַד and-bribe ba-cheq בַּחֵק in-bosom chemah חֵמָה wrath azzah עַזָּה׃ strong

14A gift in secret pacifies anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.

14은밀한 선물은 노를 쉬게 하고 품의 뇌물은 맹렬한 분을 그치게 하느니라

15 simchah שִׂמְחָה joy la-tzaddiq לַצַּדִּיק to-righteous asot עֲשׂוֹת to-do mishpat מִשְׁפָּט justice u-m’chittah וּמְחִתָּה but-terror l’fo’alei לְפֹעֲלֵי to-workers-of aven אָוֶן׃ iniquity

15It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

15정의를 행하는 것이 의인에게는 즐거움이요 죄인에게는 패망이니라

16 adam אָדָם man to’eh תּוֹעֶה wanders mi-derekh מִדֶּרֶךְ from-way haskel הַשְׂכֵּל understanding bi-qhal בִּקְהַל in-assembly r’fa’im רְפָאִים dead yanuach יָנוּחַ׃ shall-rest

16The man that wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

16명철의 길을 떠난 사람은 사망의 회중에 거하리라

17 ish אִישׁ man machsor מַחְסוֹר want ohev אֹהֵב loves simchah שִׂמְחָה pleasure ohev אֹהֵב loves yayin יַיִן־ wine va-shemen וָשֶׁמֶן and-oil lo לֹא not ya’ashir יַעֲשִׁיר׃ be-rich

17He that loves pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loves wine and oil shall not be rich.

17연락을 좋아하는 자는 가난하게 되고 술과 기름을 좋아하는 자는 부하게 되지 못하느니라

18 kofer כֹּפֶר ransom la-tzaddiq לַצַּדִּיק for-righteous rasha רָשָׁע wicked v’tachat וְתַחַת and-instead-of y’sharim יְשָׁרִים upright boged בּוֹגֵד׃ transgressor

18The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.

18악인은 의인의 속전이 되고 사악한 자는 정직한 자의 대신이 되느니라

19 tov טוֹב better shevet שֶׁבֶת to-dwell b’eretz בְּאֶרֶץ־ in-land-of midbar מִדְבָּר wilderness me-eshet מֵאֵשֶׁת than-woman midyanim מִדְיָנִים contentions va-kha’as וָכָעַס׃ and-anger

19It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

19다투며 성내는 여인과 함께 사는 것보다 광야에서 혼자 사는 것이 나으니라

20 otzar אוֹצָר treasure nechmad נֶחְמָד desirable va-shemen וָשֶׁמֶן and-oil bi-n’veh בִּנְוֵה in-dwelling chakham חָכָם wise u-ch’sil וּכְסִיל but-foolish adam אָדָם man y’val’ennu יְבַלְּעֶנּוּ׃ swallows-it

20There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spends it up.

20지혜 있는 자의 집에는 귀한 보배와 기름이 있으나 미련한 자는 이것을 다 삼켜 버리느니라

21 rodef רֹדֵף pursues tzedaqah צְדָקָה righteousness va-chesed וָחָסֶד and-mercy yimtza יִמְצָא finds chayyim חַיִּים life tzedaqah צְדָקָה righteousness v’khavod וְכָבוֹד׃ and-honor

21He that follows after righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honor.

21의와 인자를 따라 구하는 자는 생명과 의와 영광을 얻느니라

22 ir עִיר city gibborim גִּבֹּרִים mighty alah עָלָה scales chakham חָכָם wise va-yored וַיֹּרֶד and-casts-down oz עֹז strength mivtechah מִבְטֶחָה׃ its-confidence

22A wise man scales the city of the mighty, and casts down the strength of the confidence of it.

22지혜로운 자는 용사의 성에 올라가서 그 성이 의지하는 방벽을 허느니라

23 shomer שֹׁמֵר keeps piv פִּיו his-mouth u-l’shono וּלְשׁוֹנוֹ and-his-tongue shomer שֹׁמֵר keeps mi-tzarot מִצָּרוֹת from-troubles nafsho נַפְשׁוֹ׃ his-soul

23Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.

23입과 혀를 지키는 자는 자기의 영혼을 환난에서 보전하느니라

24 zed זֵד proud yahir יָהִיר haughty letz לֵץ scorner sh’mo שְׁמוֹ his-name oseh עוֹשֶׂה deals b’zedon בְּזֶדוֹן in-arrogance zadon זָדוֹן׃ pride

24Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who deals in proud wrath.

24무례하고 교만한 자를 이름하여 망령된 자라 하나니 이는 넘치는 교만으로 행함이니라

25 ta’avat תַּאֲוַת desire atzel עָצֵל slothful t’mitennu תְּמִיתֶנּוּ kills-him ki כִּי־ for me’anu מֵאֲנוּ refuse yadav יָדָיו his-hands la’asot לַעֲשׂוֹת׃ to-work

25The desire of the slothful kills him; for his hands refuse to labor.

25게으른 자의 정욕이 그를 죽이나니 이는 그의 손으로 일하기를 싫어함이니라

26 kol כָּל־ all ha-yom הַיּוֹם the-day hit’avvah הִתְאַוָּה he-craves ta’avah תַאֲוָה craving v’tzaddiq וְצַדִּיק but-righteous yitten יִתֵּן gives v’lo וְלֹא and-not yachsokh יַחְשֹׂךְ׃ spares

26He covets greedily all the day long: but the righteous gives and spares not.

26어떤 자는 종일토록 탐하기만 하나 의인은 아끼지 아니하고 베푸느니라

27 zevach זֶבַח sacrifice r’sha’im רְשָׁעִים wicked to’evah תּוֹעֵבָה abomination af אַף how-much-more ki כִּי־ when v’zimmah בְזִמָּה with-wickedness y’vi’ennu יְבִיאֶנּוּ׃ he-brings-it

27The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he brings it with a wicked mind?

27악인의 제물은 본래 가증하거든 하물며 악한 뜻으로 드리는 것이랴

28 ed עֵד־ witness k’zavim כְּזָבִים lies yoved יֹאבֵד shall-perish v’ish וְאִישׁ but-man shomea שׁוֹמֵעַ hears la-netzach לָנֶצַח constantly y’dabber יְדַבֵּר׃ speaks

28A false witness shall perish: but the man that hears speaks constantly.

28거짓 증인은 패망하려니와 확실히 들은 사람의 말은 힘이 있느니라

29 he’ez הֵעֵז hardens ish אִישׁ man rasha רָשָׁע wicked b’fanav בְּפָנָיו his-face v’yashar וְיָשָׁר but-upright hu הוּא he yakhin יָכִין directs darkho דַּרְכּוֹ׃ his-way

29A wicked man hardens his face: but as for the upright, he directs his way.

29악인은 자기의 얼굴을 굳게 하나 정직한 자는 자기의 행위를 삼가느니라

30 ein אֵין no chokhmah חָכְמָה wisdom v’ein וְאֵין and-no t’vunah תְּבוּנָה understanding v’ein וְאֵין and-no etzah עֵצָה counsel l’neged לְנֶגֶד against YHVH יְהוָה׃ LORD

30There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

30지혜나 명철이나 모략이 여호와를 당하지 못하느니라

31 sus סוּס horse mukhan מוּכָן prepared l’yom לְיוֹם for-day milchamah מִלְחָמָה battle v’la-YHVH וְלַיהוָה but-to-LORD ha-t’shu’ah הַתְּשׁוּעָה׃ the-victory

31The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.

31싸울 날을 위하여 마병을 예비하거니와 이김은 여호와께 있느니라
