잠언 28장 (Proverbs Chapter 28)
1 nasu נָ֣סוּ flee v’ein וְאֵין־ and-no rodef רֹדֵ֣ף pursuer rasha רָשָׁ֑ע wicked v’tzaddiqim וְ֝צַדִּיקִ֗ים but-righteous kikh’fir כִּכְפִ֥יר like-young-lion yivtach יִבְטָֽח׃ confident
1The wicked flee when no man pursues: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
1악인은 쫓아오는 자가 없어도 도망하나 의인은 사자 같이 담대하니라
2 b’fesha בְּפֶ֣שַׁע in-transgression eretz אֶ֭רֶץ land rabbim רַבִּ֣ים many sareiha שָׂרֶ֑יהָ its-princes uv’adam וּבְאָדָ֥ם but-by-man mevin מֵבִ֥ין understanding yodea יֹ֝דֵ֗עַ knowing ken כֵּ֣ן so ya’arikh יַאֲרִֽיךְ׃ it-continues
2For the transgression of a land many are its princes: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state shall be prolonged.
2나라는 죄가 있으면 주관자가 많아져도 명철과 지식 있는 사람으로 말미암아 장구하게 되느니라
3 gever גֶּ֣בֶר man rash רָ֭שׁ poor v’osheq וְעֹשֵׁ֣ק and-oppressing dallim דַּלִּ֑ים poor-ones matar מָטָ֥ר rain sotef סֹ֝חֵ֗ף sweeping v’ein וְאֵ֣ין and-no lachem לָֽחֶם׃ food
3A poor man that oppresses the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaves no food.
3가난한 자를 학대하는 가난한 자는 곡식을 남기지 아니하는 폭우 같으니라
4 ozvei עֹזְבֵ֣י those-forsaking torah ת֭וֹרָה law y’hal’lu יְהַֽלְל֣וּ praise rasha רָשָׁ֑ע wicked v’shomrei וְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י but-keepers-of torah ת֝וֹרָ֗ה law yitgaru יִתְגָּ֥רוּ contend vam בָֽם׃ with-them
4They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
4율법을 버린 자는 악인을 칭찬하나 율법을 지키는 자는 악인을 대적하느니라
5 anshei אַנְשֵׁי־ men-of ra רָ֭ע evil lo לֹא־ not yavinu יָבִ֣ינוּ understand mishpat מִשְׁפָּ֑ט justice um’vaqshei וּמְבַקְשֵׁ֥י but-seekers-of YHVH יְ֝הוָ֗ה LORD yavinu יָבִ֥ינוּ understand khol כֹֽל׃ all
5Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
5악인은 공의를 깨닫지 못하나 여호와를 찾는 자는 모든 것을 깨닫느니라
6 tov טֽוֹב־ better rash רָ֭שׁ poor holekh הוֹלֵ֣ךְ walking b’tummo בְּתֻמּ֑וֹ in-his-integrity me’iqqesh מֵעִקֵּ֥שׁ than-perverse d’rakhayim דְּ֝רָכַ֗יִם ways v’hu וְה֣וּא and-he ashir עָשִֽׁיר׃ rich
6Better is the poor that walks in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
6성실하게 행하는 가난한 자는 굽은 길로 행하는 부자보다 나으니라
7 notzer נוֹצֵ֣ר keeping torah תּ֭וֹרָה law ben בֵּ֣ן son mevin מֵבִ֑ין understanding v’roeh וְרֹעֶה but-companion-of zol’lim זֽ֝וֹלְלִ֗ים gluttons yakhlim יַכְלִ֥ים shames aviv אָבִֽיו׃ his-father
7Whoever keeps the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shames his father.
7율법을 지키는 자는 지혜로운 아들이요 탐욕스러운 자와 사귀는 자는 아비를 욕되게 하는 자니라
8 marbeh מַרְבֶּ֣ה increasing hono ה֭וֹנוֹ his-wealth b’neshekh בְּנֶ֣שֶׁךְ by-interest v’tarbit וְתַרְבִּ֑ית and-increase l’chonen לְחוֹנֵ֖ן for-gracious-to dallim דַּלִּ֣ים poor yiqb’tzenu יִקְבְּצֶֽנּוּ׃ he-gathers-it
8He that by usury and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
8중한 이자로 자기 재산을 늘이는 것은 가난한 사람을 불쌍히 여기는 자를 위해 그 재산을 저축하는 것이니라
9 mesir מֵסִ֣יר turning-away ozno אָ֭זְנוֹ his-ear mish’moa מִשְּׁמֹ֣עַ from-hearing torah תּוֹרָ֑ה law gam גַּֽם־ also t’fillato תְּ֝פִלָּת֗וֹ his-prayer toevah תּוֹעֵבָֽה׃ abomination
9He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
9사람이 귀를 돌려 율법을 듣지 아니하면 그의 기도도 가증하니라
10 mashgeh מַשְׁגֶּ֤ה causing-to-go-astray y’sharim יְשָׁרִ֨ים upright b’derekh בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ in-way ra רָ֗ע evil bish’chuto בִּשְׁחוּת֥וֹ in-his-pit hu הֽוּא־ he yippol יִפּ֑וֹל will-fall ut’mimim וּ֝תְמִימִ֗ים but-blameless yinchalu יִנְחֲלוּ־ will-inherit tov טֽוֹב׃ good
10Whoever causes the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
10정직한 자를 악한 길로 유인하는 자는 스스로 자기 함정에 빠져도 성실한 자는 복을 받느니라
11 chakham חָכָ֣ם wise b’einav בְּ֭עֵינָיו in-his-eyes ish אִ֣ישׁ man ashir עָשִׁ֑יר rich v’dal וְדַ֖ל but-poor mevin מֵבִ֣ין understanding yachq’rennu יַחְקְרֶֽנּוּ׃ searches-him
11The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that has understanding searches him out.
11부자는 자기를 지혜롭게 여기나 가난해도 명철한 자는 자기를 살펴 아느니라
12 ba’lotz בַּעֲלֹ֣ץ when-rejoice tzaddiqim צַ֭דִּיקִים righteous rabbah רַבָּ֣ה great tif’aret תִפְאָ֑רֶת glory uv’qum וּבְק֥וּם but-when-rise r’sha’im רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים wicked y’chuppas יְחֻפַּ֥שׂ is-hidden adam אָדָֽם׃ man
12When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
12의인이 득의하면 큰 영화가 있고 악인이 일어나면 사람이 숨느니라
13 m’khasseh מְכַסֶּ֣ה covering f’sha’av פְ֭שָׁעָיו his-transgressions lo לֹ֣א not yatzliach יַצְלִ֑יחַ will-prosper umodeh וּמוֹדֶ֖ה but-confessing v’ozev וְעֹזֵ֣ב and-forsaking y’rucham יְרֻחָֽם׃ will-have-mercy
13He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.
13자기의 죄를 숨기는 자는 형통하지 못하나 죄를 자복하고 버리는 자는 불쌍히 여김을 받으리라
14 ashrei אַשְׁרֵ֣י blessed adam אָ֭דָם man m’fached מְפַחֵ֣ד fearing tamid תָּמִ֑יד always umaqsheh וּמַקְשֶׁ֥ה but-hardening libbo לִ֝בּ֗וֹ his-heart yippol יִפּ֥וֹל will-fall b’ra’ah בְּרָעָֽה׃ into-evil
14Happy is the man that fears always: but he that hardens his heart shall fall into mischief.
14항상 경외하는 자는 복되거니와 마음을 완악하게 하는 자는 재앙에 빠지리라
15 ari אֲרִי־ lion nohem נֹ֭הֵם roaring v’dov וְדֹ֣ב and-bear shoqeq שׁוֹקֵ֑ק charging moshel מֹשֵׁ֥ל ruler rasha רָ֝שָׁ֗ע wicked al עַ֣ל over am עַם־ people dal דָּֽל׃ poor
15As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
15가난한 백성을 압제하는 악한 관원은 부르짖는 사자와 주린 곰 같으니라
16 nagid נָגִ֗יד prince chasar חֲסַ֣ר lacking t’vunot תְּ֭בוּנוֹת understanding v’rav וְרַ֣ב and-great ma’ashaqot מַעֲשַׁקּ֑וֹת oppressions sone שֹׂנֵ֥א hating betza בֶ֝֗צַע unjust-gain ya’arikh יַאֲרִ֥יךְ will-prolong yamim יָמִֽים׃ days
16The prince that lacks understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hates covetousness shall prolong his days.
16무지한 치리자는 포악을 크게 행하거니와 탐욕을 미워하는 자는 장수하리라
17 adam אָ֭דָם man ashuq עָשֻׁ֣ק oppressed b’dam בְּדַם־ by-blood-of nafesh נָ֑פֶשׁ soul ad עַד־ to bor בּ֥וֹר pit yanus יָ֝נ֗וּס will-flee al אַל־ not yitm’khu יִתְמְכוּ־ let-support vo בֽוֹ׃ him
17A man that does violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
17사람의 피를 흘린 자는 함정으로 달려갈 것이니 그를 막지 말지니라
18 holekh הוֹלֵ֣ךְ walking tamim תָּ֭מִים blameless yivvashea יִוָּשֵׁ֑עַ will-be-saved v’ne’qash וְנֶעְקַ֥שׁ but-perverse d’rakhayim דְּ֝רָכַ֗יִם ways yippol יִפּ֥וֹל will-fall b’echat בְּאֶחָֽת׃ at-once
18Whoever walks uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
18성실하게 행하는 자는 구원을 받을 것이나 굽은 길로 행하는 자는 곧 넘어지리라
19 oved עֹבֵ֣ד working admato אַ֭דְמָתוֹ his-land yisba יִֽשְׂבַּֽע־ will-be-satisfied lachem לָ֑חֶם bread um’raddef וּמְרַדֵּ֥ף but-following reqim רֵ֝קִ֗ים vain-things yisba יִֽשְׂבַּֽע־ will-be-satisfied rish רִֽישׁ׃ poverty
19He that tills his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that follows after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
19자기의 토지를 경작하는 자는 먹을 것이 많으려니와 방탕을 좇는 자는 궁핍함이 많으리라
20 ish אִ֣ישׁ man emunot אֱ֭מוּנוֹת faithfulness rav רַב־ many b’rakhot בְּרָכ֑וֹת blessings v’atz וְאָ֥ץ but-hastening l’ha’ashir לְ֝הַעֲשִׁ֗יר to-be-rich lo לֹ֣א not yinnaqeh יִנָּקֶֽה׃ will-be-innocent
20A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
20충성된 자는 복이 많아도 속히 부하고자 하는 자는 형벌을 면하지 못하리라
21 hakker הַֽכֵּר־ to-show-partiality panim פָּנִ֥ים faces lo לֹא־ not tov ט֑וֹב good v’al וְעַל־ and-for pat פַּת־ piece-of lechem לֶ֝֗חֶם bread yifsha יִפְשַׁע־ will-transgress gaver גָּֽבֶר׃ man
21To have respect of persons is not good: for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
21사람의 낯을 보아 주는 것이 좋지 못하고 한 조각 떡으로 말미암아 범법하는 것도 그러하니라
22 niv’hal נִֽבֳהָ֥ל hastens lahon לַה֗וֹן to-wealth ish אִ֭ישׁ man ra רַ֣ע evil ayin עָ֑יִן eye v’lo וְלֹֽא־ and-not yeda יֵ֝דַע knows ki כִּי־ that cheser חֶ֥סֶר poverty y’vo’ennu יְבֹאֶֽנּוּ׃ will-come-to-him
22He that hastens to be rich has an evil eye, and considers not that poverty shall come upon him.
22악한 눈이 있는 자는 재물을 얻기에만 급하고 빈궁이 자기에게로 임할 줄은 알지 못하느니라
23 mokhiach מוֹכִ֣יחַ rebuking adam אָ֭דָם man acharai אַחֲרַ֣י afterwards chen חֵ֣ן favor yimtza יִמְצָ֑א will-find mimachaliq מִֽמַּחֲלִ֥יק than-flattering lashon לָשֽׁוֹן׃ tongue
23He that rebukes a man afterwards shall find more favor than he that flatters with the tongue.
23사람을 경책하는 자는 혀로 아첨하는 자보다 나중에 더욱 사랑을 받느니라
24 gozel גּוֹזֵ֤ל robbing aviv אָ֘בִ֤יו his-father v’immo וְאִמּ֗וֹ and-his-mother v’omer וְאֹמֵ֥ר and-saying ein אֵֽין־ no pasha פָּ֑שַׁע transgression chaver חָבֵ֥ר companion hu ה֝֗וּא he l’ish לְאִ֣ישׁ to-man mashchit מַשְׁחִֽית׃ destroyer
24Whoever robs his father or his mother, and says, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
24부모의 물건을 도둑질하고도 죄가 아니라 하는 자는 멸망 받게 하는 자의 동류니라
25 r’chav רְחַב־ wide nefesh נֶ֭פֶשׁ soul y’gareh יְגָרֶ֣ה stirs-up madon מָד֑וֹן strife uvoteach וּבוֹטֵ֖חַ but-trusting al עַל־ on YHVH יְהוָ֣ה LORD y’dushan יְדֻשָּֽׁן׃ will-be-made-fat
25He that is of a proud heart stirs up strife: but he that puts his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
25마음이 탐하는 자는 다툼을 일으키나 여호와를 의지하는 자는 풍족하게 되느니라
26 boteach בּוֹטֵ֣חַ trusting b’libbo בְּ֭לִבּוֹ in-his-heart hu ה֣וּא he khesil כְסִ֑יל fool v’holekh וְהוֹלֵ֥ךְ but-walking b’chokhmah בְּ֝חָכְמָ֗ה in-wisdom hu ה֣וּא he yimmalet יִמָּלֵֽט׃ will-be-delivered
26He that trusts in his own heart is a fool: but whoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered.
26자기의 마음을 믿는 자는 미련한 자요 지혜롭게 행하는 자는 구원을 얻을 자니라
27 noten נוֹתֵ֣ן giving larash לָ֭רָשׁ to-poor ein אֵ֣ין no machsor מַחְס֑וֹר lack uma’lim וּמַעְלִ֥ים but-hiding einav עֵ֝ינָ֗יו his-eyes rav רַב־ many m’erot מְאֵרֽוֹת׃ curses
27He that gives to the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse.
27가난한 자를 구제하는 자는 궁핍하지 아니하려니와 못 본 체하는 자에게는 저주가 크리라
28 b’qum בְּק֣וּם when-rise r’sha’im רְ֭שָׁעִים wicked yissater יִסָּתֵ֣ר hides adam אָדָ֑ם man uv’ovdam וּ֝בְאָבְדָ֗ם but-when-perish yirbu יִרְבּ֥וּ increase tzaddiqim צַדִּיקִֽים׃ righteous
28When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
28악인이 일어나면 사람이 숨고 그가 멸망하면 의인이 많아지느니라
