잠언 31장 (Proverbs Chapter 31)

1 divrei דִּבְרֵי words-of lemu’el לְמוּאֵל Lemuel melekh מֶלֶךְ king massa מַשָּׂא prophecy asher אֲשֶׁר which yissratu יִסְּרַתּוּ taught-him immo אִמּוֹ his-mother

1The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.

1르무엘 왕의 말씀한 바 곧 그 어머니가 그를 훈계한 잠언이라

2 mah מַה what bri בְּרִי my-son u-mah וּמַה and-what bar בַּר son-of bitni בִּטְנִי my-womb u-mah וּמֶה and-what bar בַּר son-of nedarai נְדָרָי my-vows

2What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?

2내 아들아 내가 무엇을 말할꼬 내 태에서 난 아들아 내가 무엇을 말할꼬 서원대로 얻은 아들아 내가 무엇을 말할꼬

3 al אַל not titten תִּתֵּן give la-nashim לַנָּשִׁים to-women cheilekha חֵילֶךָ your-strength u-drakhekha וּדְרָכֶיךָ and-your-ways lamchot לַמְחוֹת to-destroy melakhim מְלָכִין kings

3Give not your strength to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.

3네 힘을 여자들에게 쓰지 말며 왕들을 멸망시키는 일을 행치 말지어다

4 al אַל not la-melakhim לַמְלָכִים for-kings lemu’el לְמוֹאֵל O-Lemuel al אַל not la-melakhim לַמְלָכִים for-kings sheto שְׁתוֹ to-drink yayin יָיִן wine u-lroznim וּלְרוֹזְנִים and-for-princes ey אֵי where shekhar שֵׁכָר strong-drink

4It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:

4르무엘아 포도주를 마시는 것이 왕에게 마땅치 아니하고 왕에게 마땅치 아니하며 독주를 찾는 것이 주권자에게 마땅치 않도다

5 pen פֶּן lest yishteh יִשְׁתֶּה he-drink v-yishkach וְיִשְׁכַּח and-forget mechuqaq מְחֻקָּק what-is-decreed vishaneh וִישַׁנֶּה and-pervert din דִּין judgment kol כָּל all benei בְּנֵי sons-of oni עֹנִי affliction

5Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

5술을 마시다가 법을 잊어버리고 모든 간곤한 백성에게 공의를 굽게 할까 두려우니라

6 tenu תְּנוּ give shekhar שֵׁכָר strong-drink l-oved לְאוֹבֵד to-perishing v-yayin וְיַיִן and-wine l-marei לְמָרֵי to-bitter-of nafesh נָפֶשׁ soul

6Give strong drink to him that is ready to perish, and wine to those that be of heavy hearts.

6독주는 죽게 된 자에게, 포도주는 마음에 근심하는 자에게 줄지어다

7 yishteh יִשְׁתֶּה let-him-drink v-yishkach וְיִשְׁכַּח and-forget risho רִישׁוֹ his-poverty va-amalo וַעֲמָלוֹ and-his-misery lo לֹא not yizkor יִזְכָּר remember od עוֹד more

7Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.

7그는 마시고 그 빈궁한 것을 잊어버리겠고 다시 그 고통을 기억지 아니하리라

8 ptach פְּתַח open pikha פִּיךָ your-mouth l-ilem לְאִלֵּם for-mute el אֶל to din דִּין cause kol כָּל all benei בְּנֵי sons-of chalof חֲלוֹף passing-away

8Open your mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.

8너는 벙어리와 고독한 자의 송사를 위하여 입을 열지니라

9 ptach פְּתַח open pikha פִּיךָ your-mouth shfat שְׁפָט judge tzedeq צֶדֶק righteously v-din וְדִין and-plead ani עָנִי poor v-evyon וְאֶבְיוֹן and-needy

9Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

9너는 입을 열어 공의로 재판하여 간곤한 자와 궁핍한 자를 신원할지니라

10 eshet אֵשֶׁת wife-of chayil חַיִל valor mi מִי who yimtza יִמְצָא can-find v-rachok וְרָחֹק and-far mi-pninim מִפְּנִינִים than-rubies mikhrah מִכְרָהּ her-price

10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

10누가 현숙한 여인을 찾아 얻겠느냐 그의 값은 진주보다 더하니라

11 batach בָּטַח trusts bah בָּהּ in-her lev לֵב heart-of ba’lah בַּעְלָהּ her-husband v-shalal וְשָׁלָל and-spoil lo לֹא not yechsar יֶחְסָר he-will-lack

11The heart of her husband does safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

11그런 자의 남편의 마음은 그를 믿나니 산업이 핍절하지 아니하겠으며

12 gmalat’hu גְּמָלַתְהוּ she-will-do-him tov טוֹב good v-lo וְלֹא and-not ra רָע evil kol כֹּל all yemei יְמֵי days-of chayyeha חַיֶּיהָ her-life

12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

12그런 자는 살아 있는 동안에 그 남편에게 선을 행하고 악을 행치 아니하느니라

13 darshah דָּרְשָׁה she-seeks tzemer צֶמֶר wool u-fishtim וּפִשְׁתִּים and-flax vata’as וַתַּעַשׂ and-works b-chefetz בְּחֵפֶץ with-delight kappeyha כַּפֶּיהָ her-hands

13She seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands.

13그는 양털과 삼을 구하여 부지런히 손으로 일하며

14 haytah הָיְתָה she-is k-oniyyot כָּאֳנִיּוֹת like-ships socher סוֹחֵר merchant mi-merchaq מִמֶּרְחָק from-afar tavi תָּבִיא she-brings lachmah לַחְמָהּ her-food

14She is like the merchants’ ships; she brings her food from afar.

14상고의 배와 같아서 먼 데서 양식을 가져오며

15 vatakom וַתָּקָם and-she-rises b-od בְּעוֹד while-yet laylah לַיְלָה night vatitten וַתִּתֵּן and-gives teref טֶרֶף food l-vetah לְבֵיתָהּ to-her-household v-choq וְחֹק and-portion l-na’aroteyha לְנַעֲרֹתֶיהָ to-her-maidens

15She rises also while it is yet night, and gives meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

15밤이 새기 전에 일어나서 그 집 사람에게 식물을 나눠주며 여종에게 일을 정하여 맡기며

16 zammah זָמְמָה she-considers sadeh שָׂדֶה field vatiqqachehu וַתִּקָּחֵהוּ and-buys-it mi-pri מִפְּרִי from-fruit-of khappeyha כַפֶּיהָ her-hands nata נָטְעָה she-plants karem כָּרֶם vineyard

16She considers a field, and buys it: with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.

16밭을 간품하여 사며 그 손으로 번 것을 가지고 포도원을 심으며

17 chagrah חָגְרָה she-girds v-oz בְעוֹז with-strength motneyha מָתְנֶיהָ her-loins vat’ametz וַתְּאַמֵּץ and-strengthens zro’oteyha זְרוֹעֹתֶיהָ her-arms

17She girds her loins with strength, and strengthens her arms.

17힘으로 허리를 묶으며 그 팔을 강하게 하며

18 ta’amah טָעֲמָה she-perceives ki כִּי that tov טוֹב good sachrah סַחְרָהּ her-merchandise lo לֹא not yichbeh יִכְבֶּה goes-out ba-laylah בַלַּיְלָה in-night nerah נֵרָהּ her-lamp

18She perceives that her merchandise is good: her candle goes not out by night.

18자기의 무역하는 것이 이로운 줄을 깨닫고 밤에 등불을 끄지 아니하며

19 yadeyha יָדֶיהָ her-hands shilchah שִׁלְּחָה she-puts ba-kishor בַכִּישׁוֹר to-spindle v-khappeyha וְכַפֶּיהָ and-her-hands tamchu תָּמְכוּ hold pelekh פָלֶךְ distaff

19She lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

19손으로 솜뭉치를 들고 손가락으로 가락을 잡으며

20 kappah כַּפָּהּ her-palm parsah פָּרְשָׂה she-stretches le-ani לֶעָנִי to-poor v-yadeyha וְיָדֶיהָ and-her-hands shilchah שִׁלְּחָה she-reaches la-evyon לָאֶבְיוֹן to-needy

20She stretches out her hand to the poor; yes, she reaches forth her hands to the needy.

20그는 간곤한 자에게 손을 펴며 궁핍한 자를 위하여 손을 내밀며

21 lo לֹא not tira תִירָא she-fears l-vetah לְבֵיתָהּ for-her-household mi-shaleg מִשָּׁלֶג from-snow ki כִּי for khol כָל all betah בֵּיתָהּ her-household lavush לָבֻשׁ clothed shanim שָׁנִים scarlet

21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

21그 집 사람들은 다 홍색 옷을 입었으므로 눈이 와도 그는 집 사람을 위하여 두려워하지 아니하며

22 marvaddim מַרְבַדִּים coverings astah עָשְׂתָה she-makes lah לָּהּ for-herself shesh שֵׁשׁ fine-linen v-argaman וְאַרְגָּמָן and-purple levushah לְבוּשָׁהּ her-clothing

22She makes herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

22그는 자기를 위하여 아름다운 방석을 지으며 세마포와 자색 옷을 입으며

23 noda נוֹדָע known ba-sh’arim בַּשְּׁעָרִים in-gates ba’lah בַּעְלָהּ her-husband b-shivto בְּשִׁבְתּוֹ when-he-sits im עִם with ziqnei זִקְנֵי elders-of aretz אָרֶץ land

23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.

23그 남편은 그 땅의 장로로 더불어 성문에 앉으며 사람의 아는 바가 되며

24 sadin סָדִין linen-garment astah עָשְׂתָה she-makes vatimkor וַתִּמְכֹּר and-sells va-chagor וַחֲגוֹר and-girdles natnah נָתְנָה she-delivers la-kna’ani לַכְּנַעֲנִי to-merchant

24She makes fine linen, and sells it; and delivers girdles to the merchant.

24그는 베로 옷을 지어 팔며 띠를 만들어 상고에게 맡기며

25 oz עֹז strength v-hadar וְהָדָר and-honor levushah לְבוּשָׁהּ her-clothing vatischaq וַתִּשְׂחַק and-she-laughs l-yom לְיוֹם at-day acharon אַחֲרוֹן last

25Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

25능력과 존귀로 옷을 삼고 후일을 웃으며

26 piyha פִּיהָ her-mouth patchah פָּתְחָה she-opens v-chochmah בְחָכְמָה with-wisdom v-torat וְתוֹרַת and-law-of chesed חֶסֶד kindness al עַל on l’shonah לְשׁוֹנָהּ her-tongue

26She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

26입을 열어 지혜를 베풀며 그 혀로 인애의 법을 말하며

27 tzofiyyah צוֹפִיָּה she-watches halichot הֲלִיכוֹת ways-of betah בֵּיתָהּ her-household v-lechem וְלֶחֶם and-bread-of atzlut עַצְלוּת idleness lo לֹא not tochel תֹאכֵל she-eats

27She looks well to the ways of her household, and eats not the bread of idleness.

27그 집안 일을 보살피고 게을리 얻은 양식을 먹지 아니하나니

28 qamu קָמוּ arise vaneyha בָנֶיהָ her-children vay’ashruha וַיְאַשְּׁרוּהָ and-call-blessed ba’lah בַּעְלָהּ her-husband vay’hal’lah וַיְהַלְלָהּ and-praises-her

28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.

28그 자식들은 일어나 사례하며 그 남편은 칭찬하기를

29 rabot רַבּוֹת many banot בָּנוֹת daughters asu עָשׂוּ have-done chayil חָיִל virtuously v-at וְאַתְּ but-you alit עָלִית excel al עַל above kullanah כֻּלָּנָה them-all

29Many daughters have done virtuously, but you excel them all.

29덕행 있는 여자가 많으나 그대는 여러 여자보다 뛰어난다 하느니라

30 sheqer שֶׁקֶר deceitful ha-chen הַחֵן the-grace v-hevel וְהֶבֶל and-vain ha-yofi הַיֹּפִי the-beauty ishah אִשָּׁה woman yir’at יִרְאַת fears YHVH יְהוָה the-LORD hi הִיא she tit’hallal תִתְהַלָּל shall-be-praised

30Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised.

30고운 것도 거짓되고 아름다운 것도 헛되나 오직 여호와를 경외하는 여자는 칭찬을 받을 것이라

31 tnu תְּנוּ give lah לָהּ to-her mi-pri מִפְּרִי from-fruit-of yadeyha יָדֶיהָ her-hands vihal’luha וִיהַלְלוּהָ and-let-praise-her va-sh’arim בַשְּׁעָרִים in-gates ma’aseyha מַעֲשֶׂיהָ her-works

31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

31그 손의 열매가 그에게로 돌아갈 것이요 그 행한 일로 말미암아 성문에서 칭찬을 받으리라
