Anseong City Hall Jeong Yun-seong, ATP China Last Open Challenger Doubles Winner

Anseong City Hall tennis player Jung Yun-seong won the doubles title at the ATP Challenger Tour held in Jinan, Shandong Province, China on August 24 (local time). Jung was paired with Japan’s Yuta Shimizu, and won the championship by defeating Japan’s Rio Noguchi and Australia’s Edward Winter 2-1 in the final.

With this win, Jung Yun-seong has won his fourth Challenger doubles title. Jung plans to compete in the ATP Zhangjiagang International Challenger, which opens on August 26, to try for another win.

Anseong City Hall Tennis Team coach Noh Gwang-chun said, “I am very proud of Jung Yoon-seong for training consistently in the hot weather and achieving the results he wanted,” and added, “We will not spare our support so that he can continue to play well in the future.”

There is even more anticipation for Jung Yoon-seong’s performance in the next competition, and much interest is also focused on the progress of the Anseong City Hall tennis team.
