Anseong City (Mayor Kim Bo-ra) successfully conducted the Ulchi exercise on drone terror attack response and fire suppression in preparation for actual wartime situations at the Shinanseong substation in the city on the 21st.
About 80 people from 9 related organizations and groups, including Anseong City Hall, the 2nd Battalion of the 5171st Unit, Anseong Police Station, Anseong Fire Station, Anseong Public Health Center, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Anseong Hospital, Korea Electric Power Corporation Anseong Branch, and the Autonomous Disaster Prevention Foundation, participated in this training.

The training was conducted under the assumption of a situation where a suicide drone approaches, a facility explodes, or a hostage situation, and it served as an opportunity to prove the security of the Shinanseong substation by operating the anti-drone system. The military and police quickly arrested the terrorists and ensured the safety of the citizens, and the fire department secured safety by eliminating additional risk factors during the fire suppression process.
Mayor Kim Bo-ra said, “Through this practical training involving the public, private, military, and police, we were able to confirm that the response system for key national facilities to crisis situations is well-established,” and added, “I would like to thank the relevant organizations and officials who participated in this training.”
