Uijeongbu English Library Holds Various Reading Culture Events to Celebrate September Reading Month

Uijeongbu English Library will hold various reading culture events for citizens using the library during September, the month of reading. This event is themed ‘Reading Together, Reading Differently, Reading Again’ and was planned to allow citizens to enjoy English reading activities more abundantly.

During the event, Uijeongbu English Library will present various programs to encourage reading activities such as English reading special lectures and booknics. In the English reading special lecture on September 13, Sophie, the author of “Don’t study English, read English,” will be the lecturer and share useful information about English reading and her own experiences.

In addition, Bookknic is a program that combines books and picnics, providing participants with a new reading environment. Through this program, users can rent picnic sets including recommended books outside the library and have a unique reading experience.

In addition to this, there will be various programs centered around reading, such as ▲English Library exhibition book reading certification event ▲English Library movie reading ▲Blind Book rental ▲Reading Month book exhibition ▲English Library librarian collection review.

Applications for the lecture and book club will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30 at the English Library website (www.uilib.go.kr/english).
