Incheon City’s Namdong-gu Nonhyeon 2- dong Administrative Welfare Center announced on the 28th that it operated a Nonhyeon 2- dong Mobile Health Booth to prevent heat-related illnesses and COVID- 19 .

Nonhyeon 2- dong Health Booth informed local residents of heatwave health tips and lifestyle tips to prevent respiratory infections in preparation for heat-related illnesses and COVID- 19 , and conducted blood pressure and postprandial blood sugar checks and made reservations for cognitive screening tests .

Aunt Lee, who used the health booth, said, I was worried because I heard that COVID-19 is spreading again, so I was grateful that they taught me how to prevent it and provided me with masks . I said that I have been very forgetful lately, so they even helped me with a dementia test, which I was very grateful for .

Dongjang Choi Myeong-suk said, As the number of patients with heat-related illnesses and coronavirus is increasing these days, we will do our best to provide health and welfare services and linkages to ensure a healthy summer for the residents of Nonhyeon 2- dong .

Meanwhile , the cognitive screening test is an excellent test for distinguishing cognitive decline used in the national dementia screening program. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes , although it varies from person to person . It can be done at the Nonhyeon 2- dong Administrative Welfare Center after making a reservation in advance without any special preparation .
