Uiwang City (Mayor Kim Seong-je) will be accepting applications for the ‘Healthy Fruit Package’ support project for preschool children being cared for at home from August 23 to September 27.

This project is designed to help children in home care living in Uiwang City grow up healthily through a balanced diet. The target of support is preschool children who are receiving home care allowance or parental allowance, and children attending kindergarten or daycare are excluded from the support.

Selected children will be provided with fruit packages containing fresh seasonal fruits worth 60,000 won twice a year from late October to December.

Mayor Kim Seong-je said, “I hope that through this project that can contribute to the healthy growth of children, children will be able to consume plenty of fresh fruit,” and added, “We plan to continue to expand various types of support to improve the childcare environment at home in the future.”
