Uijeongbu City Daycare Center Association, 2024 Regular General Meeting Held Successfully

Uijeongbu City (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on August 23 that the Uijeongbu City Daycare Center Association (Chairman Song Eun-hee) held the ‘2024 Uijeongbu City Daycare Center Association Regular General Meeting’ at the Information Library Cinema Heaven. This general meeting was a great success, with approximately 100 daycare center directors in the city attending.

The first part of the regular general meeting discussed the first half of 2024 business settlement and the second half business plan. The second part of the event focused on strengthening the childcare capacity of directors through customized training for daycare center directors for high-quality childcare.

Song Eun-hee, the president of the Uijeongbu City Daycare Center Association, emphasized the importance of daycare by saying, “In keeping with Uijeongbu, a happy city where it is good to have and raise children, let’s do our best to create a more trustworthy daycare environment on the front lines.”

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said in his congratulatory remarks, “I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to the directors and teachers of daycare centers who dedicate themselves to the care of children even in difficult circumstances,” and added, “Let’s work together to create Uijeongbu, a city where parents can trust and leave their children with us, where teachers feel a sense of accomplishment, and where children can happily pursue their dreams.”

Meanwhile, the Uijeongbu City Daycare Center Association plans education to strengthen the capabilities of daycare teachers and various play programs for children, and strives to ensure that the daycare business in Uijeongbu City can proceed smoothly. It promotes balanced development of public, private, and home daycare centers, and contributes to creating a trustworthy daycare environment in the local community.
