Gyeyang Youth Culture Center, 2024 Youth Dance Competition 'Move On Stage' Applications Open

Incheon Gyeyang Youth Cultural Center is accepting applications for the 2024 National Youth Dance Competition ‘Move On Stage’. Anyone aged 9-24 nationwide can participate, and the preliminary round of this competition will be held on November 1, 2020. The finals will be held on September 28 and October 26 at Gyeyang Cultural Center.

The Gyeyang Youth Culture Center announced that it will hold the 2024 National Youth Dance Competition ‘Move on Stage’, in which young dancers aged 9 to 24 from all over the country can participate. This is the second competition following the successful debut last year.

This competition will be held in two stages: the preliminary round on Saturday, September 28, 2024, and the final round on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Gyeyang Cultural Center. A total of 12 teams will advance. Those selected through the preliminary round will advance to the final round.

This competition offers various prizes to the participants who perform the best. The grand prize winner will receive 1 million won, and the gold, silver, and popularity prize winners will receive 700,000 won, 500,000 won, and 300,000 won, respectively. A total of 2.5 million won will be awarded to the finalists.

Those who wish to participate must submit an application by Thursday, September 12, 2024. The application form can be downloaded from the Gyeyang Youth Culture Center website (www.gysiseol.or.kr). Once completed, please email it to 2022gy@naver.com.

The esteemed judges WOOTAE, SOLSOW, and YEONJIN will evaluate the performances during the competition. The final event will consist of the opening ceremony, dance competition, and award ceremony. Entry to the finals is free, but seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and pre-registration is required.
