On August 23rd, the opera ‘La Traviata’ held at the Wookyung Art Hall of KyeWon Arts University in Uiwang City ended successfully. This performance featured the Dream World Philharmonic Orchestra (conductor Jang Myeong-geun) performing Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece on stage, with over 800 citizens joining in.
On this day, famous domestic and international vocalists such as Yun Hyun-jung (as Violetta), Jo Jung-hyuk (as Alfredo), Im Chang-han, Byun Ji-hyun, and Kim Sang-min appeared on stage, presenting a moving performance along with the beautiful performance of the orchestra. In particular, the scene where Violetta and Alfredo appeared in the audience singing the ‘Cheers Song’ was a highlight of the performance, receiving a great response from the audience.

Mayor Kim Seong-je of Uiwang City said, “I hope that many citizens were able to have a healing time with touching music through this performance. We will continue to strive to provide citizens with opportunities to enjoy diverse culture and arts.”
