Sejong City Transportation Corporation (CEO Do Soon-gu) conducted a street promotion campaign for the newly introduced transportation service ‘Eung Pass’ targeting about 4,000 citizens in Dodam-dong and the government complex area on the 27th. This campaign is considered an important step toward increasing the public transportation transport share in Sejong City.

Sejong City Transportation Corporation, as the representative public urban transportation agency of Sejong City, has actively promoted the use of public transportation by directly explaining to citizens the issuance method and benefits of the Eung Pass. Eung Pass is an economical transportation ticket that allows public transportation use of up to 50,000 won with a monthly recharge of 20,000 won, and can be applied for through Shinhan Bank and a dedicated app.

CEO Do Soon-goo said, “We hope that citizens will actively participate in the introduction of this E-Pass, and through this, we will contribute to Sejong City’s 2026 goals of ‘achieving a 10% public transportation modal share’ and ‘securing 25 million bus users. ’” He emphasized, “Sejong City Transit Corporation will continue to take the lead in revitalizing public transportation for the convenience of citizens.”

Meanwhile, the Eung Pass is expected to be conveniently used by more citizens as it can be used for public transportation in not only Sejong but also Daejeon, Cheongju, Cheonan, Gongju, and Gyeryong. The Eung Pass will be available for use starting from the 10th of next month, and many citizens are expected to be able to benefit from advance applications.
