중랑구(구청장 류경기)는 오는 22일 ‘망우 마중 마을활력소’에서 제30회 어린이 차(茶) 예절 발표회를 개최할 예정이다. 올해로 30회를 맞는 이 행사는 지역 내 국·공립 어린이집 및 유치원의 어린이 약 200명이 참여해 전통 다도 문화를 배우고 체험할 기회를 제공한다. 이번 발표회는 어린이들이 전통 예절을 통해 소통과 존중의 가치를 배우고, 미래를 이끌어갈 세대가 우리의 유구한 전통을 이어가는 의미 있는 시간이 될 것으로 기대된다.
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) is set to hold the 30th Children’s Tea Etiquette Presentation on Oct. 22, at the Mangwoo Majoong Village Activity Center. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the event, which will see the participation of around 200 children from local public daycare centers and kindergartens. The presentation aims to provide children with the opportunity to learn and experience Korea’s traditional tea culture, allowing them to understand the value of respect and communication that tea etiquette embodies. The event is expected to be a meaningful moment for the younger generation to connect with Korea’s rich cultural heritage.
차 예절 발표회는 중랑구청이 후원하고 ‘중랑 차 예절 연구회’가 주최하며, 약 3개월간 차 예절과 전통 예절 교육을 받은 어린이들이 직접 차를 우려 부모님께 드리는 시연을 펼칠 예정이다. 행사에 참여하는 어린이들은 한복을 차려입고, 선생님의 지도를 받아 정성스럽게 차를 준비하며 우리 전통의 아름다움과 예절의 중요성을 배우는 시간을 가질 계획이다. 특히 아이들이 직접 차를 우려 부모님께 대접하는 모습은 전통 예절 속에서 존중과 사랑을 표현하는 상징적인 장면이 될 것이다.
Sponsored by Jungnang-gu Office and organized by the Jungnang Tea Etiquette Research Society, the tea presentation will feature children who have spent the last three months learning traditional tea and etiquette skills. Dressed in hanbok, the children will carefully brew and serve tea to their parents under the guidance of their teachers. This heartfelt moment not only allows children to express respect and love through the traditional ceremony but also highlights the cultural significance of maintaining and passing down these traditions in a modern context.

이번 발표회는 단순히 차를 마시는 것을 넘어서, 한국의 전통문화와 그 안에 담긴 깊은 의미를 아이들에게 전수하는 것을 목표로 한다. 또한, 다도 시연 외에도 여러 전통문화를 체험할 수 있는 프로그램이 마련된다. ▲스마트 전통놀이 ▲디지털 북치기 ▲증강현실(AR) 활쏘기 등의 체험을 통해 아이들은 전통과 미래 기술이 융합된 새로운 형태의 교육을 경험하게 될 것이다. 특히 디지털 기술을 활용한 전통 체험은 어린이들의 호기심을 자극하고, 그들이 더욱 즐겁게 전통문화를 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 이를 통해 아이들은 전통과 현대가 조화롭게 결합된 모습을 체감하며, 전통문화를 단순한 과거의 유산이 아닌 현재와 미래 속에서도 이어나가야 할 소중한 자산으로 받아들일 수 있게 된다.
In addition to the tea demonstration, various traditional cultural activities will be held. Programs like Smart Traditional Games, Digital Drumming, and Augmented Reality (AR) Archery will offer a fusion of technology and tradition. These experiences will allow children to see how the past and future can coexist and how digital tools can enrich their understanding of traditional values. The inclusion of interactive technology in cultural activities is expected to spark the curiosity of young participants, helping them embrace both their heritage and the innovations that shape the future.
류경기 중랑구청장은 이번 발표회를 통해 “아이들이 우리 전통 차 예절을 배우고 직접 실천하는 모습을 보니 매우 자랑스럽다”며, “중랑구는 전통문화 계승뿐만 아니라, 미래 세대를 위한 교육적 지원을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다. 이를 통해 아이들이 전통과 현대를 연결하며 자부심을 갖고 성장할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
Mayor Ryu expressed pridely, “It is wonderful to see our children learning and practicing our traditional tea etiquette. Jungnang-gu is committed to supporting the next generation by expanding educational infrastructure and programs that connect tradition with modernity, helping our children grow with pride in their heritage.”
한편 중랑구는 차 예절 발표회 외에도 어린이들을 위한 다양한 교육 인프라 확충에 앞장서고 있다. 구는 실내 놀이터, 공동 육아 방, 미디어 센터 운영 등 어린이들이 다양한 경험을 할 수 있는 공간을 제공하고 있으며, 지난 9월에는 청소년문화예술창작센터를 개관하여 청소년들이 창의적 활동을 할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다. 또한, 제2방정환교육지원센터와 천문과학관 개관을 앞두고 있으며, 이를 통해 중랑구는 어린이와 청소년들의 다양한 교육적 수요를 충족시키고, 그들이 미래를 준비할 수 있는 환경을 지속적으로 마련하고 있다.
Jungnang-gu has been continuously expanding its educational infrastructure to support children beyond just the Tea Etiquette Presentation. Facilities such as indoor playgrounds, shared childcare rooms, and media centers have been established to provide children with diverse experiences. The district also opened a Youth Culture and Arts Creation Center in September and is preparing to open the second Bang Jeong-hwan Educational Support Center and an Astronomy Science Center. These efforts aim to meet the educational needs of children and youth, helping them prepare for the future in a well-rounded environment.
중랑구는 앞으로도 전통문화와 현대적 교육을 접목한 프로그램을 통해, 아이들이 글로벌 시대에서도 우리 전통의 가치를 잊지 않고 이어나갈 수 있는 다양한 기회를 제공할 계획이다. 차 예절 발표회는 이러한 노력의 일환으로, 아이들이 전통과 미래를 동시에 배울 수 있는 소중한 교육의 장으로 자리매김하고 있다.
