제6회 장애인 인권영화제 성황리 개최

영화제로 장애인 인권에 대한 새로운 시각을 제시

중랑구가 지난 12일 중랑 캠핑숲에서 제6회 장애인 인권영화제를 성공적으로 개최했다. 영화제는 장애인 인권에 대한 새로운 시각을 제시하며, 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 공존할 수 있는 사회를 만들기 위한 지역 축제로 진행되었다.

On October 12, Jungnang District successfully hosted the 6th Disability Rights Film Festival at Jungnang Camping Forest, offering new perspectives on disability rights. The festival was held as a community event with the purpose of creating a more inclusive society where individuals with and without disabilities can coexist harmoniously.

‘함께 나아가는 미래 인권을 위한 걸음’

이번 영화제는 중랑구가 지원하고 중랑·새벽지기·신세계중랑의 세 장애인자립생활센터가 공동 주최하여 마련되었다. ‘함께 나아가는 미래 인권을 위한 걸음’이라는 주제로, 영화라는 매체를 통해 장애에 대한 이해를 높이고, 비장애인들이 장애인의 삶을 더 깊이 이해할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것이 주요 목표였다.

Supported by the Jungnang District and jointly organized by three centers for independent living—Jungnang, Saebyeokjigi, and SSG Jungnang—the festival carried the theme, “A Step Towards a Shared Future for Human Rights.” With cinema as its medium, the festival aimed to raise awareness of disabilities and provide non-disabled individuals with a deeper understanding of the lives of disabled persons.

다양한 주제의 영화들로 깊은 감동 선사

행사는 장애인 공공 일자리 사업을 다룬 다큐멘터리 영화 ‘2020 노동의 기록’으로 문을 열었다. 이어 장애인의 직장생활을 다룬 ‘소희로부터’, 장애인 자립 지원 임대주택을 주제로 한 ‘여기가’, 그리고 폭염 속 쪽방촌 주민들의 생존을 조명한 ‘돈의동의 여름’ 등 다양한 주제를 다룬 영화들이 상영되었다. 각각의 영화는 장애인들이 직면한 현실적 문제와 그들의 권리를 위한 싸움을 생생하게 전달하며, 참석한 지역 주민들에게 깊은 감동을 선사했다.

The festival opened with the documentary 2020 Labor Records, which highlights public employment opportunities for the disabled. Other films included From Sohee, depicting a young disabled woman’s experiences in the workplace, Here It Is, addressing accessible housing for those with disabilities, and Summer in Donui-dong, which focuses on the survival struggles of marginalized residents in extreme heat. These films offered profound insights into the challenges faced by disabled individuals and their fight for rights, leaving a lasting impact on the local audience.

중랑구는 앞으로도 발달장애인 패션쇼와 전시회 등 다양한 행사를 통해 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 어우러질 수 있는 문화를 조성해 나갈 계획이다.
