This actual training was conducted as part of the Ulchi exercise that was carried out nationwide from the 19th to the 22nd, and Changnyeong-gun was selected as the representative actual training institution in Gyeongsangnam-do.

The main objectives of the training were to protect key national facilities essential for conducting a total national war, improve the ability to deal with new types of attacks such as drones, and strengthen defensive functions.

In addition, we focused on minimizing material and human damage and strengthening crisis management capabilities by establishing a cooperative system among the public, private, military, police, and fire departments.

Various related organizations, including Changnyeong County, the 39th Division, Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency, Gyeongnam Fire Department, National Intelligence Service branch, and Korea Electric Power Corporation Gyeongnam Headquarters, participated in the training, and around 30 pieces of equipment, including fire helicopters, armored vehicles, military and police operation vehicles, and drones, were mobilized.

Assuming that enemy special forces had infiltrated the Beijing South Substation, a key national facility, the training was conducted as a comprehensive exercise for responding to terrorism, including joint military and police initial response, joint rescue and fire suppression by relevant organizations, and emergency restoration of the facility.
