The pastry and baking class run by Changnyeong County (Governor Seong Nak-in) for local residents at the Changnyeong Daum Food Education Center is receiving a great response.
On the 20th, Changnyeong County announced that this program is receiving a lot of attention as it provides a beneficial experience to local residents.
Changnyeong Daum Food Lifestyle Education Center was created by remodeling the former Changnyeong Onion Sauce Experience Center (Okcheon-ri, Changnyeong-eup) as part of the Rural New Vitality Plus project, and provides various food lifestyle education programs for children and adults.
In the first half of the year, various programs were run for daycare and kindergarten children, including making bibimbap using local agricultural products, and in the second half of the year, a confectionery and baking class was set up for local residents.
This pastry and baking class will be held for a total of 6 times from the 8th to the 26th of September, and is receiving a lot of attention from residents as they can learn pastry and baking techniques that are not easily accessible in everyday life. The course is designed so that anyone can easily follow it, providing participants with an enjoyable and informative time.
Governor Seong Nak-in said, “We plan to continue to provide various educational programs at the Changnyeong Daum Food Education Center in the future,” and added, “I hope that this educational program will be a good opportunity to develop healthy foods using Changnyeong County agricultural and livestock products.”
