Jung-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Jeong-heon) announced that the ’25th Muuido Third Princess and Tiger Dance Festival’ held at Muuido Hanagae Beach on August 17th ended successfully.
This festival was hosted by Muuido Art Center, and to commemorate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Brazil, a special stage was presented with a Brazilian Rio Samba performance team and traditional Korean music. This collaborative stage, called ‘K-Samba’, received a warm response from residents and tourists.
Citizens and tourists who participated in the festival enjoyed the festival to the fullest, forgetting the summer night heat to the lively music of the traditional Korean percussion instruments and the passionate rhythm of the Brazilian samba. At the end of the performance, the performers and the audience came together to create a special stage, giving everyone a time of happy memories.
Kim Jeong-heon, the mayor of Jung-gu, said, “We will continue to provide residents with opportunities to enjoy a wider variety of cultures through high-quality cultural events in the future,” and added, “I hope that this Muuido Dance Festival will be a time to recharge energy for residents who are tired from the heat.”
This festival provided a special experience of enjoying culture and art in the beautiful nature of Muuido, and was successfully concluded.
