Incheon Namdong-gu announced on the 23rd that it recently conducted training related to the ‘ Survey on the Living Conditions of Single- Person Households Age 50 and Older’ targeting approximately 870 village heads from 20 districts in the district office auditorium .
This training helped to understand the survey by providing guidance on the basis and method of conducting the survey on the living conditions of single- person households aged 50 or older , as well as tips on filling out the survey form .
Through this survey, the city will prioritize and support crisis victims by providing them with public benefits such as emergency livelihood and medical expenses , as well as care services .
In addition , we plan to use the results of a survey on living conditions and policy needs as data for establishing policies such as ‘ promoting a user-centered prevention project for deaths from loneliness . ‘
Namdong-gu has been conducting a survey through wired and QR surveys since last June , and will begin a full-scale on-site survey on August 27 by selecting subjects who need an on-site survey .
The district plans to accelerate the discovery of those at risk of dying alone through cooperation with welfare center leaders, in parallel with a comprehensive survey of resident registrations .
Mayor Park Jong-hyo said, “ I would like to express my gratitude to the village chiefs who communicate most closely with the residents and play a central role for their hard work . As the role of the village chief has become important in preventing lonely deaths, I hope that you will carefully examine the situation through on-site investigations . ”
