Central Health Life Support Center, 'Midsummer Night Health Walk' to be held on the 28th

Siheung City Central Health Lifestyle Support Center will hold the 2nd ‘Midsummer Night, Healthy Walk’ event at the Ttaogi Cultural Park in Mokgam-dong at 6:30 PM on August 28.

This event consists of a program where participants gather at Mokgam-dong Taogi Cultural Park, stretch together, and then walk around a part of the trail, about 4 kilometers (km), while looking at the beautiful sunset over Mulwang Lake. The event is expected to last about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Currently recruiting participants, citizens who wish to participate can apply in advance through Naver Form ( https://naver.me/xeArKEpn ) or by contacting the Central Health Lifestyle Support Center Health Management Team (031-310-0723).

In addition, the Central Health Lifestyle Support Center is also operating the ‘7,000 Step Walking Challenge’ to increase citizens’ walking practice in their daily lives. This program provides health packages to those who complete the walking mission and also conducts body composition measurements and exercise counseling. The third group of participants will be recruited from August 26 to 30, and applications can be made via Naver Form ( https://naver.me/x58ftC0l ) or by phone (031-310-0703).

Jeong Seong-geun, director of the Central Health and Living Support Center, said, “I hope that through this event, local residents can experience enjoyable walking activities with their neighbors, overcome the hot summer in a healthy way, and practice walking in their daily lives.”
