On August 23, the Sanbon branch of Moduuijuk donated 100 sets of nutritious porridge and shikhye to Gunpo 1-dong, practicing warm sharing. The donated items were delivered to the seniors by members of the Gunpo 1-dong Community Security Council who visited the senior center in person, and in the process, they personally practiced love for their neighbors by checking on the seniors’ well-being.
Choi Woon-young, CEO of Moduuijuk, said, “I hope that through this support for nutritious porridge, the elderly can overcome the summer heat and stay healthy,” and announced that they will continue to provide support for vulnerable groups in the local community in the future.
Kim Min-ae, chairwoman of the Gunpo 1-dong Community Social Security Council, said, “As the heat wave continued this summer, we were very concerned about the health of the elderly. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Moduuijuk Sanbon Branch for sponsoring the nutritious porridge,” and added, “We will continue to do our best for the health and welfare of the elderly in Gunpo 1-dong.”
