Idea Proposal Contest to be Held in the Second Half of 2024

Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will hold a ‘2nd Half of 2024 Idea Proposal Contest’ to discover creative policies for residents and improve administrative services.

This competition was designed to discover policy proposals and communicate with residents to introduce and improve creative work based on innovation.

The contest theme is free, and any creative idea related to the 8th local government policy can be submitted. Residents who wish to participate can submit proposals through ▲mobile phone text message (010-2353-8939) ▲KakaoTalk channel ‘Through Eunpyeong’ ▲National Newspaper Library ‘General Proposal’ ▲Eunpyeong-gu Office website ‘Idea Plaza’.

Proposals that simply call attention to themselves, express complaints, criticisms, grievances, matters relating to the profitable business and publicity of specific individuals, groups, or companies, and matters unrelated to the work of local governments are excluded.

In particular, the six people who made adopted proposals will be awarded prize money separately, with the first place winner receiving 1 million won, the two excellence award winners receiving 500,000 won each, and the three encouragement award winners receiving 300,000 won each.

If you submit your proposal by December 31st, you will receive a review response from the relevant department within 30 days. After review by the Eunpyeong-gu Proposal Review Committee, the results are expected to be announced around February of next year.

Eunpyeong-gu Mayor Kim Mi-kyung said, “We will do our best to discover diverse and innovative ideas and create an innovative city in Eunpyeong,” adding, “I ask for the interest and participation of many residents.”
