On the 23rd, Yongin Special City Cheoin-gu held a meeting with local city and provincial council members in the district office conference room, explained the projects scheduled to apply for special grants this year and the main budget compilation plan for next year, and discussed the district’s major pending issues. Ten city and provincial council members and Cheoin-gu District Mayor Song Jong-yul and other district officials attended the meeting and exchanged various opinions on resolving residents’ inconveniences and improving the quality of life for residents.
On the 23rd, Cheoin-gu, Yongin Special City, held a meeting with local city and provincial council members in the district office conference room, explained the district’s special grant application projects this year and the direction of next year’s budget compilation, and discussed major pending issues in depth. Cheoin-gu Mayor Song Jong-yul and 10 local city and provincial council members attended this meeting and discussed various plans for improving the convenience of residents’ lives and for regional development.
At the meeting, the council members requested the city to more quickly resolve residents’ inconveniences regarding living facilities such as walkways, riverside trails, sports facilities, and bus stops, and to actively promote projects that can improve the quality of life. They also requested support for expanding infrastructure directly related to residents’ lives, such as transportation infrastructure construction, sewage system improvement, and various disaster prevention measures.
The district officials explained the district’s main issues and requested cooperation from local city and provincial council members in securing special adjustment grants this year so that the project can proceed smoothly. They also requested continued support from the council and city and provincial council members so that the inconvenience of the district residents can be minimized through balanced development and rapid repairs in the other two districts as well as in Cheoin-gu.
A city council member who attended the meeting that day said, “I would like to thank the public officials of Cheoin-gu who did their best to ensure the safety and happiness of the residents,” and added, “Let’s actively communicate and cooperate to improve the quality of life of the residents of Cheoin-gu.”
Song Jong-yul, the mayor of Cheoin-gu, said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the city and provincial council members who have constantly been thinking hard and working hard for the development of Cheoin-gu,” and added, “We will actively share and cooperate with the city and provincial councils regarding projects promoted by the district.”
