Promotion of the 'Brilliant Life, Happy Old Age' Project

This project will visit 6 village senior centers in Changnyeong-eup for 6 days from the 20th to the 27th and provide various programs to promote the welfare and health of the elderly in the area.

On the first day, the 20th, about 25 seniors attended the Orthogyo Path Party, where activities to develop hand-brain coordination such as making picture frames and silver physical activities such as archery and bean bag putting were carried out to enhance the seniors’ cognitive abilities. Through this, the seniors had time to relieve stress from their daily lives and find vitality.

In addition, the health consultation and welfare blind spot promotion corner operated as a side event received a great response from the elderly and contributed to increasing understanding of welfare services in the local community.

Co-chairperson Kim In-gu said, “We will help seniors to have a positive mindset and move more,” and added, “I hope that they will relieve stress and find peace of mind through silver physical activities.”

Mayor Seong Bong-jun said, “We will continue to actively support the activities of the local community social security council and do our best to promote the welfare and health of the elderly.”
