Anseong City announced that it will conduct the 2024 Anseong City Social Survey (12th) from August 29 to September 12. This survey is a social survey conducted simultaneously by Gyeonggi Province and local governments in Gyeonggi Province, including Anseong City, every year. It measures indicators related to the quality of life, such as Anseong City residents’ life satisfaction and social interests, and is used to predict future social trends and changes, and as basic data for establishing various policies.
The subjects of the survey are 810 households in Anseong City, sampled, and the target is household heads and household members aged 15 or older as of August 29. The survey consists of 48 questions in 10 categories, including “family and household, environment, health, social integration and community, safety, and Anseong City characteristics,” and the survey is conducted by surveyors visiting households in person, while an online survey is also conducted.
The collected information will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with Article 33 of the Statistics Act and will only be used for statistical purposes. The survey results will be announced in December after comprehensive analysis and compilation.
An Anseong City official said, “In preparation for the recent resurgence of COVID-19, we will do our best to prevent infectious diseases by wearing masks and carrying portable hand sanitizers during the survey,” and added, “Despite the hot weather, we ask for the active cooperation and sincere response of the households sampled in this survey, which will serve as important data for establishing policies for the development of Anseong City.”
This social survey is expected to be of great help in establishing practical policies that reflect citizens’ opinions, and the active participation of citizens participating in the survey is important.
