Signing of business agreement with Juan Welfare Foundation to support food lifestyles for vulnerable groups

Incheon Michuhol-gu Juan 6-dong (Director Yoon Do-hee) announced on the 27th that it signed a business agreement with Juan Welfare Foundation (Chairman Joo Seung-joong) regarding the ‘Lunchbox Sharing Project’ to support the eating habits of the underprivileged.

The Juan Welfare Foundation is a social welfare corporation established to professionally practice love for neighbors based on the vision of the Juan Presbyterian Church. Since 2014, it has been carrying out a lunchbox sharing project in cooperation with the Juan 6-dong Administrative Welfare Center.

According to this agreement, the Juan Welfare Foundation will deliver lunch boxes to the Juan 6-dong Administrative Welfare Center once a week, and the lunch boxes will be delivered to 20 households of elderly people living alone through honorary social welfare workers.

Yoon Do-hee, the head of Juan 6-dong, said, “I am happy to be able to provide a hearty meal to vulnerable groups who have difficulty eating on hot summer days,” and “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Juan Welfare Foundation officials who helped us.”

An official from the Juan Welfare Foundation said, “Previously, the lunchbox sharing project was mainly conducted for residents of Namdong-gu, but we are glad that we can now expand the service area to neighbors in Juan 6-dong as well,” adding, “We will continue to practice love for our neighbors by connecting with the local community in the future.”

This agreement is expected to strengthen the food support for the vulnerable class in Juan 6-dong and contribute to spreading a warm culture of sharing within the local community.
