가을날의 책 축제로 자리매김

지난 19일, 중랑구청 잔디광장에서 제9회 중랑 북페스티벌이 성공적으로 개최되었다. 이번 행사는 지역 주민들과 방문객들에게 독서문화를 체험하고 함께 즐길 수 있는 기회를 제공하며, 다양한 프로그램으로 가을날의 책 축제로 자리 잡았다. ‘책 읽는 중랑’을 목표로 한 이 행사는 주민들의 뜨거운 참여 속에 활기차게 진행되었다.

On the 19th, the 9th Jungnang Book Festival was held successfully at Jungnang District Lawn Plaza. The event provided residents and visitors with the opportunity to experience and enjoy reading culture through various programs, firmly establishing itself as a beloved autumn book festival. With a goal of promoting a “Reading Jungnang,” the event was marked by enthusiastic participation from the community.

 

 

1,200명이 넘는 아동들이 참여

행사는 오전 11시, ‘취학 전 천 권 읽기’ 우수 참여자 시상식으로 시작되었다. 이 프로그램은 미취학 아동들에게 독서 습관을 길러주기 위한 중랑구의 대표적인 독서 프로그램으로, 올해에도 1,200명이 넘는 아동들이 참여, 그 중 115명의 아동이 우수 참여자로 선정되어 상을 받았다. 시상식이 끝난 후 이어진 독서문화 체험 부스와 미니 북토크, 책 마술쇼 등 다양한 프로그램들이 이어지며, 주민들에게 독서와 문화를 함께 즐길 수 있는 풍성한 시간을 제공했다.

The festival began at 11 a.m. with the ‘1,000 Books Before School’ Award Ceremony, a key program designed to foster early reading habits in young children. Over 1,200 children participated in the program this year, with 115 recognized for their outstanding achievements. Following the ceremony, the festival continued with various activities, including reading culture experience booths, mini book talks, and a book magic show, providing a day full of cultural and educational entertainment for the residents.

도서교환전, 자신만의 소중한 새 책으로

특히, 2113 도서교환전은 헌책 두 권을 가져오면 새 책 한 권으로 교환할 수 있는 특별한 프로그램으로, 매년 큰 인기를 끌어왔다. 올해도 많은 주민들이 참여해 자신만의 소중한 새 책을 받아갔다. 또한, 어린이 가족을 위한 **가족뮤지컬 ‘별주부전’**은 한국의 전래동화를 바탕으로 하여, 전통 동요와 춤, 난타와 같은 전통 예술을 한데 어우르며 흥미로운 공연을 선사했다. 공연은 교육적인 의미도 함께 담아, 어린이들에게 안전 예방 수칙을 자연스럽게 전달하는 시간을 제공했다.

One of the most popular features was the 2113 Book Exchange, where participants could trade two old books for one new book, a well-loved program that has attracted large numbers of residents every year. The festival also hosted a family musical adaptation of ‘Byeoljubu-jeon’, a traditional Korean tale. The performance incorporated traditional music, dance, and even percussion instruments like the janggu, creating an educational and entertaining experience for children and their families. The performance also taught important safety rules to young audiences, adding further value to the day’s festivities.

 

이번 제9회 중랑 북페스티벌은 주민들의 적극적인 참여와 높은 관심 속에서 성공적으로 마무리되었다. 앞으로도 중랑구는 다양한 독서 프로그램과 행사를 통해 독서문화를 확산시키고, 주민들이 더욱 책을 가까이할 수 있는 환경을 조성해 나갈 계획이다.
