Origin of the name of Jeonong-dong

It is said that the name of Jeonong-dong originated from Jeonnong -ri (典農) because there was a land called Jeokjeon (籍田) where the king personally farmed since the early Joseon Dynasty (also known as Jeonong () , and at the time it was called Dongjeokjeon () ) .
