Gunpo City announced that it will hold the 2nd regular meeting of the Gunpo City Youth Policy Committee in 2024 at 2:00 PM on August 28th in the small conference room on the 3rd floor of the ‘Gunpo City Youth Space Flying’.

This regular meeting is an important venue for setting the direction of Gunpo City’s youth policy to help young people grow and become independent, and discussions will be held to establish the ‘2nd Gunpo City Youth Policy 5-Year Basic Plan’ to be implemented from 2025 to 2029.

The Gunpo City Youth Policy Committee is an organization that deliberates and decides on major youth policy issues, and is comprised of a total of 20 members, including Chairman Lim Dae-hwan, the head of the Central Youth Support Center of the Youth Foundation, as well as youth policy experts and youth committee members.

This meeting will specify the direction of youth policy promotion and review 40 youth policy projects in 4 fields that were promoted in the first half of this year. Through this, Gunpo City plans to analyze the policy’s achievements and problems and derive improvements to be reflected in the second half and the next 5-year plan.

In particular, this meeting will be held in the small conference room of ‘Youth Space Flying’ (abbreviated as Cheong-Pul), which is scheduled to officially open at the end of September. ‘Youth Space Flying’ is a space where young people can freely gather and grow, and is an important base prepared by Gunpo City for young people. In this meeting, the committee members will conduct a preliminary inspection of ‘Youth Space’ before the opening and seek ways for this space to be of practical help to young people.
