Expanding recruitment of applicants for the second half of the unemployed youth support project (ALL-Pass)

Seongnam City announced on the 23rd that it will expand the recruitment of the second half of the ‘Unemployed Youth Support Project (ALL-Pass)’, which provides support for language and qualification exam fees and private academy tuition fees to unemployed youth. In this second half of the year recruitment, non-regular short-term workers can also apply if they have worked for less than 1 year and meet the income criteria, and participants in the National Employment Support System can also apply if they meet certain conditions.

Seongnam City’s ‘Unemployed Youth Support Project (ALL-Pass)’ will expand the scope of support from the second half of the year. Previously, ’employee subscribers’ on the health insurance qualification certificate were not eligible for support, but from the second half of this year’s recruitment, irregular short-term workers with a work period of less than 1 year are also eligible for support. However, only those with monthly income of 60% or less of the standard median income (approximately 1,337,067 won) must submit supporting documents.

In addition, young people participating in types 1 and 2 of the National Employment Support System will be able to apply for the ‘Unemployed Youth Support Project (ALL-Pass)’ if they have completed receiving cash support such as job search activity support funds or training participation support allowances.

The target of support is unemployed youth aged 19 to 34 (born between January 2, 1989 and December 31, 2005) who have been registered as residents of Seongnam City for more than one year as of the date of application. Applicants for the subsidy are those who have taken the relevant exam or completed the course after January 1, 2023.

Young people can apply multiple times until they reach the support limit of 1 million won, and young people who have previously applied can also apply for additional balances as long as they do not exceed the 1 million won limit.

Tuition support is available both online and offline, and the areas in which support is provided are ▲20 types of language tests including TOEIC, Chinese, and Spanish ▲Korean history proficiency test ▲887 types of nationally recognized qualifications including computer skills, word processor, computerized accounting, and Korean cuisine.

Applications can be made year-round through the Gyeonggi Job Foundation’s integrated application system, ‘Jobaba Apply (http://apply.jobaba.net)’, and required submission documents and details can also be checked on the site. Applicants will be selected as beneficiaries after checking for duplication and other eligibility, and will receive the subsidy around the end of the month following the month of application.

Seongnam City hopes that through this second half recruitment, more unemployed youth will be able to reduce their financial burden and more smoothly prepare for obtaining qualifications and employment.
