The Women’s Association of the Changnyeong County Council of the Right Living Movement announced that it successfully concluded the ‘2024 Love Season Kimchi Sharing Event’ on the 21st.
About 50 members, including council members, 14 township committees, and women’s groups, participated in this event and worked together to trim turnips and pack water kimchi in containers. This process was also a valuable time to promote harmony among members.
Despite the hot weather, 14 township committees visited 100 households and village halls in blind spots of welfare and delivered 300 containers of pickled turnip kimchi that they had prepared with great care. Through this sharing event, warm affection was conveyed to neighbors in blind spots of welfare.
Kwak Cheol-hyeon, chairman of the Changnyeong County Council of the Right Living Movement, said, “We will continue to carry out various volunteer activities based on the values of truth, order, and harmony, and convey our warm hearts to the marginalized neighbors in the local community.”
