This volunteer activity was carried out as part of the Gyeongnam low-income severely disabled home organization pilot project, and was carried out in cooperation with the Changnyeong-gun Volunteer Center, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gyeongsangnam-do Volunteer Center, and Gyeongsangnam-do Metropolitan Mental Health Welfare Center.

The public and private sectors are joining forces to improve the living environments of low-income, severely disabled households with hoarding disorders.

This activity involved cleaning the interior and exterior of the homes of three low-income, severely disabled households with hoarding disorders, handling of abandoned waste, fire safety inspections, and quarantine work by the Korea Association of Quarantine Officers.

This enabled the target households to live in a more comfortable and safe environment.

Chairman Cho Jeom-sun of the Changnyeong-gun Volunteer Association said, “I am very happy that this volunteer activity has enabled vulnerable disabled people to live in a better environment,” and added, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members who participated in the volunteer work despite the hot weather.”
