Changnyeong-gun begins recruiting students for the second half of the 2024 Lifelong Learning Center program

Changnyeong County (Governor Seong Nak-in) announced on the 21st that it will recruit students for the lifelong learning program in the second half of 2024 to improve the quality of life of the county residents.

This recruitment will be held from the 22nd to the 30th, and a total of 260 students will be recruited for 15 courses.

In order to provide priority opportunities for new students, the first round of recruitment will be held from the 22nd to the 23rd for those who have not taken the first half of 2024 and regular courses.

The first round of recruitment is only available through in-person applications, and the second round of recruitment will be held for all residents from the 26th to the 30th. Applications for the second round of recruitment can be made online or in-person.

The second half of the program will run for 12 weeks starting September 9th, and will offer 15 courses in various fields such as △Hobbies △Employment/Entrepreneurship △Culture △Health, etc.

Major courses include social networking service (SNS) marketing, geriatric psychological counselor certification course, ceramics craft, and singing bowl meditation therapy. In particular, customized courses that are helpful for employment and entrepreneurship, such as SNS marketing lectures, were opened to reflect the needs of the residents.

Governor Seong Nak-in said, “We will provide various lifelong education programs to satisfy the learning needs of the residents and allow them to feel the joy of learning and the rewards of practice.”
