중랑구(구청장 류경기)는 지난 19일 청소년들을 위한 ‘마음성장 프렌즈 캠프’를 성공적으로 마무리했다. 이번 캠프는 2012~2014년생 청소년 40여 명을 대상으로 중랑구의 주요 명소인 망우역사문화공원과 중랑캠핑숲 잔디광장에서 진행되었으며, 다양한 체험 활동과 또래 간 교류를 통해 청소년들이 사회성과 자아 성장을 도모할 수 있는 프로그램으로 구성되었다.
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) successfully concluded the ‘Youth Growth Friends Camp’ on the 19th of this month. The camp, which was designed for about 40 youths born between 2012 and 2014, took place at significant local landmarks such as the Mangwoo Historical Culture Park and Jungnang Camping Forest Lawn Square. The camp provided a platform for various experiential activities and peer interactions, helping the participants enhance their social skills and personal growth.
이번 캠프는 중랑구청의 지원과 청소년상담복지센터의 주관으로, 지난 4월에 이어 2차로 개최되었다. 캠프는 청소년들이 자신을 더 잘 이해하고, 다양한 경험을 통해 사회성을 기를 수 있도록 기획되었다. 프로그램은 ▲마음 탐색 ▲중랑 속 인물심리 알아보기 ▲마음 성장 등으로 구성되어, 참가자들이 자신의 성격 유형을 파악하는 성격유형검사로 시작되었다. 이를 통해 각자의 강점을 발견하는 시간을 가졌으며, 청소년들은 자신에 대한 이해를 높였다.
The camp, organized by the Youth Counseling and Welfare Center with support from Jungnang-gu Office, was the second hosting following the initial event in April. The event was designed to help teenagers better understand themselves while fostering their social development through a range of experiences. The program included activities such as “Exploring the Heart,” “Learning About Historical Figures of Jungnang,” and “Growth of the Heart.” It began with a personality type test aimed at helping participants discover their strengths, followed by a session to deepen their self-awareness.

이후 참가자들은 망우역사문화공원으로 이동하여, 향토 문화 해설사의 안내를 받아 역사 인물들의 묘역을 탐방했다. 아이들은 역사적 인물에 대한 설명을 듣고, OX퀴즈를 통해 관련 지식을 재미있게 습득했다. 마지막으로 중랑캠핑숲 잔디광장에서는 조별로 나뉘어 레크리에이션을 즐기며 친구들과 교류하고 협력하는 시간을 가졌다. 청소년들은 자유롭게 뛰놀며 친구들과 웃고 즐기는 과정에서 유대감을 형성하고, 긍정적인 캠프 경험을 쌓았다.
The youths then visited Mangwoo Historical Culture Park, where they toured the burial sites of historical figures under the guidance of a local cultural expert. Through OX quizes, they not only learned about these figures but also built up their historical knowledge in a fun and interactive way. The day concluded with outdoor recreation at the lawn square of Jungnang Camping Forest, where participants engaged in group activities, fostering teamwork and enjoying carefree moments with their peers. The event strengthened the bonds among the youths while providing them with a memorable experience.
캠프에 참가한 한 청소년은 “마음껏 웃고 친구와 함께 시간을 보내면서 특별한 추억을 만들었다”고 소감을 전했다. 류경기 중랑구청장은 “이번 캠프를 통해 청소년들이 자신의 강점을 발견하고, 친구들과 소중한 시간을 보냈길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 중랑구는 청소년들이 더 성숙하고 건강하게 자랄 수 있도록 다양한 체험 활동을 지속적으로 제공하겠다”고 밝혔다. 중랑구는 청소년을 위한 미디어센터와 교육지원센터 등을 통해 청소년들에게 다양한 교육 프로그램을 제공하며 그들의 성장을 돕고 있다.
One participant shared their thoughts, stating, “It was so much fun to laugh and play freely with friends, and it felt even more special to share the experience with them.” Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi remarked, “I hope this camp allowed the youth to discover their strengths and create precious memories with their peers. Jungnang-gu will continue to offer various activities to help our youth grow in a healthy and mature way.” Jungnang-gu continues to support youth development through programs offered at the Jungnang Myeonmok-Yangwon Media Center and the Bang Jeong-hwan Educational Support Center.
