Incheon Dong-gu Songlim 4-dong Residents’ Autonomous Council (Chairman Kang Mu-hoe) announced on the 10th that it successfully held the ‘Cultural Experience Classroom with Families for Summer Vacation’. This event was held as part of Songlim 4-dong Residents’ Autonomous Council’s pilot project, ‘Cultural Welfare Implementation Project with Families and Residents’ Autonomous Council’, and was targeted at families of elementary school students from vulnerable groups who lack opportunities to enjoy cultural life.
On this day, 10 families of elementary school students from the district participated in the event and had a great time through various experiential activities such as making sweet potato bread, cookies, and homemade syrup. This program was planned to promote children’s creativity and promote healthy growth, and it was an opportunity for participating families to create precious memories together.
Gangmuhoe, the chairman of the Songlim 4-dong Residents’ Autonomy Association, said, “I hope that this event will be a fun summer vacation memory for children from vulnerable groups who have relatively few opportunities to experience culture with their families.”

Kim Jun-su, the head of Songlim 4-dong, said, “I would like to thank the Songlim 4-dong Residents’ Autonomy Association for preparing a meaningful event for children during the summer vacation. I will do my best to ensure that our children can grow up healthily with dreams and hopes.”

This year’s ‘Summer Vacation Family Cultural Experience Classroom’ was a meaningful event held in collaboration with the Songnim 4-dong Residents’ Autonomy Association and the local community, and ended successfully, gifting the participants with a meaningful summer vacation.
