Yangseong-myeon Sports Association (Chairman Han Kyung-sun) held the “14th Yangseong-myeon Citizens’ One Heart Sports Competition” at the Yangseong Elementary and Middle School Integrated School playground on August 24. This event was attended by Anseong Mayor Kim Bo-ra, National Assemblyman Yoon Jong-gun, Anseong City Council Speaker Ahn Jeong-yeol, provincial and municipal council members, Yangseong-myeon organizations and social group leaders, and approximately 700 residents, who had a time of communication and harmony.

The sports competition was held with each of the 18 legal villages in Yangseong-myeon forming a team and competing in various games such as hula hooping, ball rolling, fishing, and 200m relay. Before and after the meal, there were dancing and singing performances, and many residents voluntarily participated, adding to the lively atmosphere throughout the event.
Han Kyung-seon, the chairman of the Yangseong-myeon Sports Association, said, “We had many concerns preparing for the event in the scorching heat of August, but we are glad that the rain came down and we were able to finish the event safely and enjoyably,” adding, “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the people of Yangseong-myeon, domestic and foreign guests, village chiefs, and Saemaul Movement members who participated in the event and to everyone who helped.”
