The ‘Uiwang Tennis Court’ newly opened by Uiwang Urban Development Corporation in Cheonggye-dong is currently undergoing a free trial operation until the end of September amidst the enthusiastic response of citizens. This tennis court, which was built on a total area of 11,409㎡ in 681-6 Cheonggye-dong last June, consists of a total of 4.5 courts, and about 1,100 citizens used it in the month of July, showing high satisfaction.

The Uiwang Tennis Court is open from 10 AM to 4 PM every day, and any citizen can use it after making a reservation in advance through the Uiwang Urban Corporation website. Reservations can be made up to twice a day in one-hour increments, maximizing convenience for citizens. The feedback collected from users during this free trial period will be reflected in the official operation of the tennis court in the future.

Acting President Kwon Hyuk-cheon of Uiwang Urban Development Corporation said, “We hope that citizens can enjoy a healthy leisure life through the newly built Uiwang Tennis Court. Based on the feedback received during the trial operation period, we are preparing for official operation in October, and we will continue to do our best to expand the infrastructure for sports for citizens’ health and happiness.” Uiwang Urban Development Corporation plans to continue to expand various sports facilities and spare no effort to support citizens’ diverse sports activities.
