On April 28, 2025, the “2025 World Grand Stage Korea-China Cultural Exchange Performance” was held in grandeur at the Lao Shaoxing Hotel in Shanghai, China. As part of the “Global Media Expansion into Shanghai Project,” this event brought together the traditional and modern cultures of Korea and China. The Songhua River Art Troupe stood at the center of it all, beautifully presenting the elegance and depth of Korean culture.

Departing from Incheon Airport on April 26, the troupe arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport dressed in traditional Korean hanbok. Holding a banner that read “World Stage, More Wonderful with You,” their group photo at the airport instantly became a symbolic image of the Korea-China cultural exchange, drawing attention with its elegance and unity.

On April 27, the day before the performance, the Korean delegation toured major cultural landmarks such as the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Bund, Yu Garden, and Chenghuang Temple, guided by Chief Director Ms. Zhu Xiaoqin of the “I Love My Country” and “Singing for the Motherland” programs. The tour offered the troupe a chance to deeply experience Chinese heritage and build emotional connections ahead of their performance.
