인천시 남동구, 베트남 시장개척단 수출상담회 성과 776만 달러

 

 

인천시 남동구가 베트남 호치민에서 개최한 ‘2024 남동구 베트남 수출상담회’에서 776만 달러 규모의 상담 실적을 기록했다. 남동구는 11일, 지난 6일 뉴월드 사이공 호텔에서 인천 테크노파크와 공동으로 이 행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

남동구는 현지 바이어 발굴과 지역 기업의 수출 경쟁력 강화를 위해 5일부터 8일까지 나흘간 베트남에 시장개척단을 파견했다. 수출상담회에는 남동구 내 우수기업 14개사가 참여하여 57개 현지 바이어와 상담을 진행했다. 상담회장에는 각 기업의 제품 샘플이 전시되어 바이어들의 높은 관심을 끌었다.

조광준 뉴텍정공 대표는 “많은 바이어가 참가해 한국에 대한 높은 관심을 느낄 수 있었다”며, “제품의 경쟁력을 널리 알리고 판로를 넓힐 수 있는 값진 기회였다”고 전했다.

상담 및 협약 체결

참가 기업들은 수출상담회에서 총 151건의 상담을 진행했으며, 현지 바이어 개별 방문도 19건 이루어져 총 167건의 상담 성과를 올렸다. 이 과정에서 기업 간 상호협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)도 7건 체결되었다.

향후 거래 전망

남동구에 따르면, 전체 수출 상담 규모는 약 776만 달러로, 이 중 향후 거래가 유력할 것으로 예상되는 금액은 350만 달러에 달한다. 박종효 남동구청장은 수출상담회와 기업 방문을 통해 남동구 기업의 신뢰도를 높이는 데 주력했다고 밝혔다.

베트남 시장의 중요성

박 구청장은 “현재 베트남은 아세안 국가 중 우리나라 제1의 협력 국가이자 매년 6%대의 경제성장률을 기록하는 매력적인 시장”이라며, “이번 수출상담회로 남동구 기업이 실질적인 성과를 거두고 미래 성장 동력을 확보할 수 있도록 지속적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 강조했다.

Incheon Namdong-gu recorded a consultation performance of 7.76 million dollars at the “2024 Namdong-gu Vietnam Export Consultation Meeting” held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. On the 11th, Namdong-gu announced that the event was conducted in collaboration with Incheon Technopark at the New World Saigon Hotel from June 5 to 8.

 

To enhance local companies’ export competitiveness and discover local buyers, Namdong-gu dispatched a market development group to Vietnam. Fourteen outstanding companies from Namdong-gu participated in the export consultation meeting, engaging in discussions with 57 local buyers. Product samples from each company were displayed at the consultation venue, attracting significant interest from the buyers.

 

Cho Kwang-jun, CEO of New Tech Precision, stated, “Many buyers participated, which allowed us to feel the high interest in Korea. It was a valuable opportunity to widely promote our product competitiveness and expand our market reach.”

 

The participating companies conducted a total of 151 consultations during the export consultation meeting, with an additional 19 individual visits from local buyers, resulting in a total of 167 consultation outcomes. In the process, seven memorandums of understanding (MOUs) for mutual cooperation among companies were also signed.

 

According to Namdong-gu, the total export consultation amount is approximately 7.76 million dollars, with an expected future transaction amount of 3.5 million dollars. Park Jong-hyo, head of Namdong-gu, emphasized that the focus was on enhancing the credibility of Namdong-gu companies through the export consultation meeting and company visits.

 

Park further noted, “Currently, Vietnam is our country’s top partner among ASEAN nations and is an attractive market with an annual economic growth rate of around 6%. Through this export consultation meeting, we will continue to provide support to ensure that Namdong-gu companies achieve tangible results and secure future growth engines.”
