Yeonsu-gu District (Mayor Lee Jae-ho) carried out a wildfire prevention campaign on Bongjaesan Mountain together with the Incheon Metropolitan City government.

The campaign was organized to coincide with the period when dry weather raises the risk of wildfires. It aimed to highlight the importance of wildfire prevention to hikers and residents living near forested areas. Yeonsu-gu District and Incheon City worked together to promote the message directly on site.
Bongjaesan Mountain is a forest area popular with local residents. Observers say ongoing prevention outreach and greater public awareness are needed to reduce the risk of fires caused by carelessness among hikers and nearby residents.

Yeonsu-gu District plans to keep up its wildfire prevention activities in cooperation with Incheon City to protect forest resources and keep residents safe.
