The Songdo 4-dong Residents' Council (Chairman Yang Kyung-yeop) in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, held a 'Real Estate Tax Law Special Lecture' on the 24th in the grand auditorium of the dong's community service center. As tax issues surrounding real estate are directly tied to residents' daily lives, the Residents' Council itself arranged the session to explain in plain terms the tax laws that had seemed difficult.

This special lecture was designed as an educational program to enhance residents' understanding of real estate-related tax law and to provide tax information useful in daily life. Interest was high, with 45 residents signing up in advance registration alone, demonstrating that residents have no small number of questions about real estate taxes.

The lecture was conducted by inviting a certified tax accountant who operates a tax office within Songdo 4-dong. Covering everything from the basic concepts of real estate tax law to tax-saving methods that can be put to immediate use in daily life, the talk was delivered in an easy-to-understand manner with examples, drawing a favorable response from the residents in attendance.

Residents' Council Chairman Yang Kyung-yeop said, "We plan to review ways to use this as material for producing content for the 'Songdo Happiness Broadcasting Station' by checking residents' responses and satisfaction," adding, "Going forward, we intend to continue operating life-oriented educational and cultural programs that reflect residents' needs."
